I am completely in love with the navy PoW suit from NTTD, but I am struggling to find an alternative where the check is neither too subtle nor too contrasting.
Did anybody run across an alternative as I am not about to throw $4000 at a the Tom Ford MTM
Best alternative!

That’s the best I’ve found. I also posted another alternative in this thread not too long ago
did you find a size chart anywhere on that sweater?
Hmmm not that I can see. I believe JG007 on here bought one and in fact encouraged them to make this sweater in the navy colour so hopefully he can chime in on sizing
In regards to suits, I have incredible experiences with indochino.com They opened a store here in Kansas City, I went in, they measured almost everything that could be measure and you pick out the fabric and every detail, lapel style, back vent, and every other detail that you want. Two weeks later a suit shows up in a box, I took back to the store and they made a couple of very minor adjustments, steamed pressed the suit and I was good to go. I wear a size 46 jacket (US size) and 34 inch waste slackt, I have a terrible time finding suits that fit anywhere close to right and have often spent as much on alterations as I did on a suit to get it right. These suits (I have 3) have been virutally perfect right out of the box. I have a Prince of Wales blue (Spectre), Prince of Wales gray (NTTD) and a nice black suit as well. The best part, I've paid as little as $300 and never more than $350.
Check it out,

Here are my J. Crew Suede MacAlister boot with moccasin toe, they were Anchor Grey, but my shoe repair guy dyed them dark brown and changed the laces, I have not worn them yet but I'm very happy with the result expecially since I have less than $100 total in them, hopeing they wear as well as they look!

They look fantastic - shame we cannae get them for as good a deal here in the UK.
Having just purchased the Tom Ford grey herringbone track stripe suit from Spectre (I think it was yours originally, Welshie), I'm now on the hunt for the TF grey tie Bond wears in Q's lab. If you have one, let me know! I'll make it worth your while.
In the meantime for those of you who own the tie, what do you think of this as a budget alternative? How close is it?
I see there's another person on the board wanting to buy the J.Crew Kentons from Spectre. (Good luck.) I had the Golden Fox Boondockers for a while and they were a good substitute until I decided I didn't want to be wearing heavy suede engineer boots during the summer.
I don't know if another bootmaker has come along with a better option since.
But seriously, has there ever been a clothing manufacturer that missed out more than J.Crew did in not continuing to manufacture those SA Kentons? The company's sales have tanked over the past few years. I can understand why if they've stubbornly resisted making items their customers have repeatedly told them they will definitely buy.

Simply put J.Crew is run by idiots but it's not just them that do stupid things. They keep restocking the other Kenton models but they refuse to release the Spectre version because why? Y-3 hasn't or is unwilling to do a special run of the QOS jacket even though they'd sell enough to make it worth while. I imagine there are other companies that have done stupid things

7 for All Mankind discontinued the Mercer wash in their jeans. While Oliver Peoples briefly rereleased the Airman sunglasses they haven't followed up on any of their products that have appeared in popular film and tv programs. John Varvatos rereleased the Cafe Racer from Spectre, but missed out on the Martian jacket (aka the real Spectre Morocco jacket). JV could have followed the route Matchless has done with the Craig Blouson and made the jacket in many different colors.
Billy Reid in contrast has done very well. Their Bond peacoat is a staple, and they did another run of Q's Astor coat. However, it's been a learning curve for them. They never did another run of their Walking Coat that was worn by The Governor in season 3 of The Walking Dead.
Anybody got a great alternative to the Sunspel Riviera? I'd in the mood for a new polo but not sure about spending $130 right now, I didn't go through all 137 pages but hoping someone will point me to some some excellent options.

I recommend the Vesper Polo by Mack Weldon. I own Sunspels, too, but prefer the MW.
The size guide is dead on. Im a 42-43 and I take a large. With the Sunspels I’ve always sized up to an extra large since the cotton shrinks so much even when cleaned per instructions.
I confess up front that I searched some through this thread but couldn't get through 137 pages, what has been found as budget alternatives for the Sunspel t-shirt? I just can't part with even 70 bucks for a t-shirt.
Uniqlo’s Supima cotton shirt is very nearly indistinguishable from the sunspel T shirt.
I know saying so might sound like blasphemy but it was after the third time I pulled the Sunspel from the laundry and placed it with the Uniqlo tees thinking it was one of them despite meaning to keep them separate that I realized how similar they are.
thanks, how is the fit, they actually look like they a bit larger than the sunspel according to the size chart, is the size chart accurate or should I go up a size? Looks like a lot of the feedback is that they are or they get too short pretty quick, have you had that issue?

So far, none of these hit the mark for me - from the pictures, the pattern is too subtle to see unless you zoom in!
Here is another picture of how relatively obvious the TF check is, courtesy of a forum member:
I also found this Caruso suit: https://www.careofcarl.dk/dk/artiklar/caruso-wool-prince-of-wales-suit-blue.html
Unfortunately nowhere to be found now it seems!
The search goes on...

Another budget alternative for the navy check suit.
Another good alternative for the London PoW suit. This is maybe the best one I’ve come across in terms of colour, design, fabric and of course price.
Seems like a good comparison to the Brumello?
Is it a different shade or the same color every year with Massimo?

I got this 2 weeks ago and i love it. I actually got it to complete my version of the Spectre Morocco outfit. I just miss the tie now.
The first is a great match for the linen shirt Bond wears on the train in Morocco in Spectre.

The second is a nice colour match for Brosnan's shirt from TND during the motorcycle chase.
https://www.mangooutlet.com/gb/men/shirts-plain/slim-fit-linen-shirt_43025730.html?c=56&n=1
The third would be a nice alternative for Connery's linen shirt from YOLT
https://www.mangooutlet.com/gb/men/shirts-plain/slim-fit-linen-shirt_43025730.html?c=85&n=1
The fourth would be a nice alternative for the recently published Orlebar Brown Dr. No polo with altered colouring.

The first three are the same shirt in different colours by the way and there are loads of nice colour options.

I could post pictures but... it’ll be two gray shirts with minor differences in their heather. Just trust me, the fit and feel are very close
