John Smedley’s have an outlet store in the UK. Found this for £49, which is a great alternative to the N Peal Spectre mock turtle neck. I ordered a Med and a Large. Medium gives ‘poster accurate’ tight fit (40” Chest, 32” waist, 6’ 2) but I’m keeping the Large as well, as it allows a little more ‘forgiveness’ to my slight ‘lockdown lard-ness’! Quality is as expected from John Smedley. It’s made from their sea island cotton.

Missed the Tommy shirt rerun and been looking for a solid alternative and this Zara shirt delivers the goods with its silk like effect.

I just received my harrington from Uniqlo, I'm quite pleased. Lot of details are correct, button adjustments on the back tail and on the sleeves, no elastic, good collar. And the black color makes it almost a good hybrid with the Haiti jacket as well. The lining is a bit bold, but the fit is good, this is a large and a 46 chest 35 waist.

I've got the impression that the blue and beige Harrington jackets are actually not that far off from Royale. Hopefully by the end of the year, anyways.

The zipper would be a deal breaker for me, probably wouldn't even be noticeable when wearing but I just can't see myself wearing a pair of boots that zip up the side.

Has anyone found a budget alternative to the Norton sunglasses?
At some point I’m planning on picking up the tortoise Ray-Ban RB4258 or RB2180 and swapping out the Brown Classic lens it comes with, with their Green Classic lens. The frame is close enough to the Norton’s for budget alternative for me.
Hmmm, I'm in the states and it seems that the UK site won't let me place an order and it the US site doesn't offer the same sunglasses. Search goes on I guess

if the mangos didn't have the side-zipper they would be a good alternative to the C&J Islay Boots
Mine have the zipper high enough they look like dress shoes but I can get them on and off quick as a whip haha
Those boots seem to be the same and the corduroys Bond wears with the accurate ones are long so I’d say go for em, they look good
