For the edging try Fiebings; worked great on my boots. But you may need to apply a couple of coats:

    https://www.amazon.com/Fiebing-0304901-Adults-Polish-Black/dp/B001O4VGVI/

PPK: Great find on those gloves! I have a Bond Under $50 post coming up focused on winter accessories. Those are going on the list for sure; credit to you!

armenianmovieman: as Chriscoop said, a lot of us understand your frustration. I've come to the conclusion that their is no "right" color if you want to be screen accurate. They just change too much from scene to scene because of the lighting and filters.

DBS shared this pic a while ago of the actual BCs IRL:

    Brunello-Cucinelli-chinos-Tintin.jpg?resize=179%2C300

The Kirklands are all dress pants, but the BCs are cotton chinos. So even if the color is close on the Kirklands, they still won't look quite right because of the fabric.

If you want to go with the lighter color, I would try these ones from H&M for 14 pounds:
    SPECTRE-Brunello-Cucinelli-Pants.jpg?resize=135%2C300

    HM-chinos.jpg?resize=257%2C300

If you want the darker color, maybe these from Volcom

    SPECTRE-Brunello-Cucinelli-Chinos-and-Matchless-Blousen.jpg?resize=141%2C300

    Volcom-Chinos-Mushroom.jpg?resize=204%2C300

And if you want something in between, maybe try these from M&S:

    MS-Taupe-Chinos.jpg?resize=231%2C300

I going to update the BC chino post in the next week or so, and I'll let you know if I find anything really close.

It is difficult to try to match the colour of the BC chinos, I agree they look different colours with different outfits - but depending upon lighting/filters they can look different colours with same outfit!
Here's my BC SA chinos on same night, same outfit, 2 shots with different cameras (iPhone and pro 'Tog)
I'm going to check out those M&S ones for a "frugal" look!

Was looking for Bondian ties on eBay and found something for $6 shipped that reminds me of Bond's ID tie that is being discussed in this thread:

Furthermore, H&M has 2 tan suits apart from the linen-blend already mentioned that could potentially serve as Brunello alternates:

A premium wool blazer reminiscent of the Brunello on sale for $89.99....

Since we are all doing the Spectre Morocco outfit here is my version. As others have said the trousers look to be different colours depending on the shot and filter used et cetera. Since they are meant to be the same trousers that are worn in the earlier scenes at L'Americain, I have used the same trousers and boots from that outfit. They are probably a bit too dark compare it to the screen trousers, but I am happy in general with this outfit.

The jacket is from H&M, tie and shirt from M&S and trousers and boots from Primark.

I don't mean to deviate away from Bond but sometimes I just see a great potential to kill 2 birds with one stone: the Brunello trousers in this case, combined with a very simple black long sleeve sweater\t-shirt.

While Captain America wears a Matchless jacket in Captain America Civil War, which is a great outfit in and of itself, there's another one my mind keeps going back to, considering the recent search for the Brunello trouser colors.

It is very simple: a black (I think waffle) sweater with gray pants that one can easily substitute with Brunello trouser alternates for a pretty nice casual outfit.

I remember him wearing some tan boots but I'll have to find a better picture for the shoe details.

    captain-america-civil-war-chris-evans-600x400.jpg

All it takes is your Brunello trouser alternates combined with a black sweater, really: a few examples from H&M ranging from $13 to $20...

Great idea for a post. I loved the look of Bond's apartment in Spectre. We are renting atm, but I would love to have a flat with hardwood floors like Bond's. I have a chair like Bond's, but it is not lovely leather unfortunately!

Fantastic Canoe2. This posts takes it to the next level. Man, you've got some serious decorating knowledge. I'm an oaf when it comes to decor, so coupling the Bond connection with some well guided concepts is heaven sent. Love this direction. {[]

I'll share these; my little Bond style inspired corner in my home office:

    Leather-Chair.jpg

The leather chair I had custom made after my father passed away. The crystal decanter belonged to my grandparents. The couch is an old beater I had reupholstered. The odds and ends are just things I've picked up travelling. The next big investment will be a genuine Persian rug.

Thanks for the feedback on the article! I'll definitely plan on doing a few more.

crt007: Wow, everyone is making a jacket like that this year! I'll add it to the post in the next update, credit to you.

angelicbond: Thanks! The table is actually a chest, and I got it for $25.00. Not the best quality, but it's solid wood and it looks nice.

Your man cave looks bad ass bro! You are really good at furnishing in the Bond style. I'm very jealous of that space.

James Brosnan and cmdr_bong: Thanks! I'm pretty happy with it. But the truth is, if you take out the leather chair, there's easily less than $1000 invested in the space (not counting books*). And that's over the years. So you don't need to spend a fortune to get a space you're comfortable in. Just time and some elbow grease.

You'll also notice I didn't show you the other side of the room where my desk is ... :v

    That's a disaster area! :o :s

The room looks awesome, Canoe2! I'm very inspired now. I like looking at Bond's apartment in Spectre, and trying to envision what it would look like cleaned up and put together. This also reminded me of when a member here, Paperbill, decided to build the bed and recreate the hotel room in Bolivia from QOS. His results came out great! Here's the old thread:

Very nice piece canoe2! I always liked the atmosphere and layout of Bond's apartment in Spectre.

Is this a decent budget alternative to the coffee table?
