So can we all agree that the UO and H&M Linen Blazer are incredibly close, if not THE closest, QoS cardigan and Brunello blazer alternatives, respectively?
The extreme slim made me wary, I'm hoping that's just a mischaracterization. I will certainly return them if they show up and are too slim fitting. Most of my pants are fitted but I never really wear "skinny jeans".

I hope you'll let us know how they work out for you? And your thoughts on them.
I'll absolutely give my best shot at a review for all those interested on the forum. They should be here in a few days, shipping looked quick on the website.
Hi all!
Been away for a bit. Was working on some other things for the site (more on that below). New post is up from our fellow community member JMac88! He expanded on his thread on the DC/Nike connection.
Have a few more new posts coming this week to get back on track!
So what have I been working on? Well, IA is coming up on it's 1 year anniversary (Dec 1). Which means it's time for our first Reader Appreciation Contest! There'll be more details coming next week, but the sponsors have been amazing and we have over $2000 in prizes! Including:
A pair of boots from Herring Shoes
Grasmere tumblers from Cumbria Crystal
A bottle of Macallan 12 yr old from Masters of Malt
Anthony Sinclair shirt from Mason and Sons
DC era tie from Indy
Chemex Coffee system
Q Mug from Wild and Wolf
Matt Sherman's excellent James Bond's Cuisine book (Bond Collectors' Weekends around these parts)
Connery NATO from Esprit NATO
A full black tie set up from Gagliardi (jacket, trousers, shirt, tie and cummerbund)
And hopefully a few others I'm still working on.
So, exciting stuff coming up for our birthday!
Meanwhile, you guys have been coming up with some excellent finds! And I know there are some requests pending (the GF hacking jacket, etc.) which I won't forget!
I have a similar jacker from last seasons Reiss collection. I had to size up to an XL (i a large in everything) as i found it really tight across the back.
That's my experience, I'm usually a L/XL but the last jacket I bought was XXL which is a similar fit on me as the royale Altausse jacket in large!!
Great quality stuff though

Those quarterly debriefs and appraisals back at Langley are a pain....I thought you'd abandoned us.
I got mine today and they are excellent. I am normally around a 34/35 waist, but went with the 36 due to the "extreme slim fit" mark. They fit great and don't feel too slim throughout the leg. Definitely a good find for $60.00! Thanks!
I also wanted to add that a new member here, BatmanvsBond, has a really fun podcast that he does and he invited me on to speak with him. So if anyone is interested in hearing me babble for about 40 mins about Bond and Batman, you can find the link in his Instagram profile:
So my shanghai pants came today and they're much too long (which is odd because it's just a 36 waist. The bottom of the pants is an odd jagged edge almost like they weren't cut to size or something.) Anyway they are slim fitting which is nice and the extreme fit seems to apply in the thigh. It's pretty slim in the thigh and I'm planning on returning them just because I'd rather have that money back and find a different pant that I won't have to hem or chop part of my thigh off for ).

For $105 you get...
For $140 you get...
The Uniqlo skinny jeans looked like leggings on me. Certainly showed off the package. )
Extreme slim is a weird description for the trousers.
The photo is misleading, that model must be seriously skinny

Although I don't think there are side pockets in either of these jackets....
