I find it pretty funny that people on that comments board are disappointed in the quality of a £29 jacket lol. What did they expect for something that cheap?
Pussy Galore: “My name is Pussy Galore.”

Brings up a point I wanted to share in this thread for a while now. I've never justified paying for the full price clothes. That being said, most of the jackets are probably worth it and you will have them for life. Clothes wear out. I tend to try for the genuine accessories however. The watches, sunglasses, braces etc... I own 2 Baron Boutique Quantum suits which have been incredible. Get compliments all the time.
Wore my white Converse Jack Purcels to death. I'm ready for another pair and it's an amazing DC item that is always available. The grey $9 Mossimo shirts from Target are spot on and actually hold up better than the Sunspel. I now own a variety of colors and they fit me great. They hug the arms like DC. Can't recommend them enough. Floresheim Chukas in both the black and brown suede are amazing alternatives. For $100 US I would find it impossible to find the same quality.
This has been an amazing site that we can inspire each other!
The Prada belt from QoS was made from Saffiano leather, which gives it that cross-hatching/textured look. Like Commandant said, that Michaelis one looks like a great match. Nice work, Peppermill!
New post from James Brosnan! He looks at the white shirt Dalton wore at the Hemingway House in LtK!
It's just come to my attention that zara have reissued the suede split jacket, alternative for the jv racer. It looks the same as the original with just some added side adjuster buckle tabs, which could be removed I think. http://m.zara.com/uk/en/-c758501p3652550.html

I won't be buying this one as I'm very happy with the first one and it only gets worn occasionly, due to the weather. Have you checked your pm's?

I grabbed this JCrew Long Sleeve T-Shirt in "Hthr Ocean" as an alternative to the SF NPeal, as it's usually too hot for me to wear the real deal, and the color is pretty darn close:
It's not a sweater, but it's a nice lightweight option. They fit slim:
Unfortunately, they only have L and XL left, but thought I would mention it because I've seen this color in some of their other shirts before, so may turn up again.

I see they've also whacked the price up from last year

The link doesn't work. I found the shirt. Only XL left.

Dang! Sorry to hear that Westward_Drift. I actually thought about you when posting it because I've seen you talk about living in a consistantly warm climate. They may bring it back though. I'll repost if I see they bring it back because the shirt has a nice texture to it and looks indistinguishable to the real thing underneath the Barbour.
Not sure what's up with the link, but it's called "Broken-In Long-Sleeve T-Shirt", for those who might be in the market for an XL.

Did last year's version have the same stitching / patches around the shoulders?

Err no ;%
So just some added side tab buckles and some shoulder detail, but other than that!!.......
......what have the Romans ever done for us?
Yes I do too, and not just because it's the one I have but it's simple and has straight lines. This new one will still work well but just has that slight wiff of Belstaff-cycle jacket, but quite possibly the new version is more practical with other outfits?

https://michaelis.eu/en/black-textured-leather-belt-11557.html Only 25 euros, not a bad price for a real leather belt.
https://www.zalando.co.uk/tiger-of-sweden-belgravia-belt-ti552d00w-q11.html I like the elongated buckle myself but am not a big fan of the brand name stamped on the buckle. I like a cleaner looking buckle.
http://www.dungelmann-schoenen.nl/magnanni-riemen-1076_zwart_8515.html A nice belt that looks a bit different from the Prada belt but a good alternative nontheless.

i just got myself the Hugo Boss Ellot-S belt (which was on discount) from a local store a few days ago.
It is 100% cow hide, but it have the typical name brand and no stitching on the sides 8-)
Is this one truly sold out already, or does the link not work?
"- That is something to be afraid of."
Thanks
That's going to make a few people happy!

Let's try again. Otherwise try searching for Michaelis textured belt as the belt is available in several webshops.

Really great vest from a great Bond brand. It fits as expected for a slim fit.
