I have received the 'Morocco' trousers from Burtons and can confirm they are great quality and a great fit. Thanks guys.

Glad those worked out for you Matt!

My review of the Golden Fox Boondocker boots is up. In short, if you can get past the lighter color, they are a great alternative for the Kentons!

2 months after I ordered it, my Debert Spectre homage is fresh off the boat from China. On Chinese New Year no less :))

I'm going to pop for an official Omega band but considering the watch was only $120ish I'm still ahead of the game to get the look :007)

Went looking for the Pale King today. Didn't find him however, probably because my boots are from the wrong movie?

Not really. Ace Jewerlers has them for $175 and that's about what the watch was plus shipping...

Damn! Looks great man! I actually like your version better than the SA one. I always thought the Islay's would work better with that outfit, along with a pair of jeans or cords. Great fit man {[]

Ah, that totally nullifies my point of putting a $175,- strap on something like that. Carry on.

A bit early in the year, but there is a very faint whiff of spring in the air, but here is a not to bad Morocco suede alternative. I've found while hunting high and low for a decent alternative to the Matchless.

Getting fed up of hunting round for a decent relatively sa jacket I've pulled the trigger on the wested " Morocco jacket" £185. Hopefully this will hush up the want one bug that bit me some time ago.

Don't think this one has been mentioned before, but Perry Ellis slim fit suit jacket on sale for $70 plus tax and shipping from Macy's.

Decent looking Brunello alternate, and although it's a polyester\rayon mix, to my eyes it is virtually the same color as the Brunello blazer, no?

I'll be happy to report my findings once I've received the jacket. I've requested the palest colour of the two choices on their site. So hopefully I'll have the whole Morocco look sorted.

Yes, dammit. Should've gone there while I was in London. But it's not that far away...

And thanks for the compliments re my Mr White outfit. I have to admit though, not a single of the items is an original SA piece, which makes it all the better for the "Budget Bond" sub-section :))

Coogan of London have massively increased there range, I know they've been mentioned before for there Hampton budget church ryder alternatives. I've had a pair of these for about 6 months and they're holding up just fine though I don't wear them daily. Some not bad islay ish boots, they have a mock dainite soul which is rubber, comfortable but probably not hard wearing but hey for £40 a pair what do you expect. http://www.cooganlondon.com/hoxton-mens-brown-brogue-boots.html

+1 -{ I bought a pair a few months ago, they're very comfortable and holding their good looks (much like myself :D ) though I don't wear them every day. I'm very tempted by the Isley lookalikes for £40 too...
I am also but in which colour? The oxblood or the dark brown?
Couple of questions about the Islay alternatives from Coogan. How comfortable are they to wear? And how do they do in bad weather?

    Thanks in advance, gentlemen.

I find them very comfortable, the sole despite looking like dainite is a softer compound almost like rubber so is quite cushioned, the down side being they won't last as long, during my first couple of wears I had a little rubbing from the back top of the boots but this went away quickly. I've worn them in rain and walked through quite wet mud and had no leaks, a decent Polish after and all is well. Over all for the money I'm quite impressed,

Hey gang, wanted to give a quick review on the American Apperal Skyfall thermal T's. I think it's great that these are a Bond screen accurate item and they are also budget. I picked up one in navy and one in grey on sale for $15 a piece a while back. SO comfortable during these winter months underneath a dress shirt, sweater etc... The fit is tight like Craig's yet breathable and forgiving. Highly recommended!

My replica Matchless replica varvatos jacket arrived today, I'm very impressed, colour looks good, stitching is great quality with no loose threads, high quality zip. The suede is very soft and supple, slight downsides ( though they don't bother me) no metal hook on collar, pockets are slightly different in style and a touch to forward compared to the Matchless, last thing is the dark viscose lining, I'd have preferred a paler colour but hey ho you can't have everything for a quarter of the originals price. The jacket came very quickly and was packaged really well. All in all I'm very happy, I think this jacket will get more wear than the blue suede jacket, it also feels like it will last for years.
