(Always nice coming home from work to find a parcel delivery waiting) :D

Then I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where we can all share our new arrivals.
So I will start with today's Special Delivery....

I got it here +$3 postage!! Brilliant service, arrived in UK in 8 days. Can't fault the service and it's a VERY nice, good quality holster.

You're right! Wasn't it the Vega IB339 in Casino Royale? Used to carry the P99 instead of the PPK.
But basically the same holster. ;%

The vega for my PPKs is my go to holster for off duty carry.. used to wear an outside the pant Bianchi, but like the slim fit of the Vega.. especially in warm weather when an outside the pant holster will sometimes cause an imprint even with something as slim as the Walther...

Is it the same Vega holster? I got one of the Casino ones years back but thought it would not work for a PPK and only P99 or maybe Glock (or similar). Never really worked with the issued Briwning HP

Due to UK gun laws nearly put it up on eBay as I am unlikely to ever be able to put anything in it these days anyway

    Cheers :007)

I think the Vega IB333 and IB339 are different sizes of the same design.
The IB333 is for small automatic pistols like the PPK AND THE IB339 for medium sizes like the P99.
    They do other sizes too.

Nice Moncler Solden by the way! {[]

Contrary to popular belief, they never used the IB339 in CR, it was actually a IB332 which fits the P99 better. It has a scalloped upper cut which is seen very clearly when you see Bond draw. The IB339 doesn't have this.

@ ASP 9mm Thank you for the information on the Casino Royale holster. I would like to get a Vega IWB #332 for my airsoft Walther P99 in the near future.
  • MFisherMFisher Posts: 747MI6 Agent
NICE Uncle 27.... yeah.. Id love to pick up those glasses... just not in the budget right now.. I have the Markos.. but they were absolute junk... both nose pads fell off.. lenses popped out... and I wasn't even hard on them.. they were a complete waste of money... I essentially paid for a brand name... not quality...

As for the vega holsters... YES ! That is now my go to holster for off duty carry for my PPKs... much more concealable than the bianchi I had used for years... great holster,.. functional.. practical.. and comfortable
  • UNCLE27UNCLE27 EnglandPosts: 1,144MI6 Agent
I have the Markos too. Mine haven't fallen apart but then I've not used them a great deal, they sit in the car mainly. But they certainly don't feel like quality sunglasses. The Henry's on the other hand feel much better, closer in quality to Persol. A great style too, which suits me better than the Markos. I think these will be getting far more wear when the sun comes back... B-)

The Vega IB333 fits the PPK perfectly. It is the one I bought and pictured above.
I bought mine here and can fully recommend them for their price and service.

Definitely feel like better quality than the Marko's but sadly I returned mine as even the 51mm size made me look like more like Dame Edna than JB.

So, today, I received a packet from New Zealand. Always exciting...
This one contained Magnoli's new SPECTRE Polo Shirt.
And I have to say.... WOW!! Thanks Indy!! You've done it again!! What a fantastic shirt!!

    A quick review
(and I know that this would be better with pictures but it's dark here now and I couldn't get a decent enough picture to do it justice.)
Anyway, a really nice, dark blue, lightweight polo shirt, slightly stretchy and fitted. Certainly gives the look of the screen seen shirt (note to self - Gym before the spring/summer!!) Sizing was spot on and it feels really comfortable, straight out of the packet. A deep V neckline and excellent detail in the stitching around the arms and the thick waistline is also eleasticated which helps with the vintage look. Can't wait to wear this shirt out and about!!!

These shirts are amazing value for money!! I'd absolutely recommend these. Thanks Indy!! {[]

I would add that the photos on the website look very accurate and capture the colour well. Any photos I took would be unlikely to better these.
