Best consecutive run of films

Watching FYEO last night I thought of something - what is the best run of consecutive films?

I know people will disagree with this but I think TSWLM to OP is the best, they're all great films and represent Moore's most successful set of films. To me, nothing stick out in the middle of it as a bad film.

2nd I'd probably say DN to TB, although I feel less affection for GF over time.

    IMHO, the best run was DN to OHMSS.
    Though my favourite is TLD to TWINE. :007)

    Dr No to Goldfinger is the classic trilogy.

    Another impressive streak is OP to TWINE (if that can be counted as consecutive considering the gap between LTK and GE)

    (I'm a fan of AVTAK but not FYEO. Otherwise that streak would start with TSWLM for me)

    I like LTK better than any Bond film that has come after it, but it just feels too 80s and not enough like a Bond film.

    Totally agree with DN thru OHMSS. Nothing will ever top that initial classic 'big bang.'

    CR thru SP has been a great run of success as well, however polarizing for some. Sorry, craighauntsmybaddreams.com-types! :D

    The first 16 movies are "more than" what fans bargained for .... You could be forgiven for thinking of post LTK films as similar to Bond continuation novels authored by others

    FYEO-GE would definitely get my vote if it wasn't for TLD.

    Nothing against TLD, it's a good film, but it's not one of my favourites, unlike all the others on that list.

    Sadly there haven't been any more if you want at least three films in a row.

    From my personal view:
    -Dr. No to Goldfinger
    -The Spy Who Loved Me to Octopussy
    -The Living Daylights to Tomorrow Never Dies
    -Die Another Day to Quantum Of Solace

    As you can see below, those are all in my Top 17 and I consider all of those 17 movies to be very good to excellent.

    In fact, YOLT to TMWTG features some of the highest grossing / trend setting / interesting / different films in the Bond franchise ;)

    Read the "interesting" films thread and you would find many of the films from this group listed
