Bond + Bond Girl + Water

Something which probably everyone's noticed, but has just occured to me recently. Have you realised how many films there are of Bond getting with the Bond Girl at the end, near or around water.
I mean there are 24 Bond films.
Dr No- Bond gets with Honey on the boat at the end, untying the rope from Felix's boat.
FRWL- Bond and Romanova ona gondola in venice
TB- Bond and domino on a life raft
YOLT- Kissy and bond on a life raft
TMWTGG- Bond and Goodnight on Scaramanga's junk Ship
TSWLM- Bond and Anya on the escape pod, 'keeping British end up-
FYEO- Bond and Melina decideing to go for a 'moonlight swim'
OP- Bond and Octopussy on Octopussy's row boat
AVTAK- Not sure if this counts, but Bond and Stacey in the shower together.
LTK- Bond and Pam start making out in Sanchez' swimming pool
Tomorrow never dies- Bond and Wai Lin after the stealth ship blows up.

    Really good observation! I guess it's all about putting them in a location where they are alone?

    Bond films also have a big obsession with helicopters too, I read somewhere that DN and TMWTGG are the only films not to feature one.

    Water can represent purification, baptism and ressurection. Maybe that's something to do with it.

    to go via boat ? He also was a sailor so has an affinity with water :D
