The Sean Connery Thread - The Complete Bond

I like the RM thread so here is one for Connery, one of my fav Bonds. I feel that he is the complete Bond as he has shown excellence in a wide acting range - action, humor, seriousness, anger, etc. His films are iconic.
I have read comments where some people have said that he looks disinterested in his "nth" film. I don't think it is an accurate comparison as a) apart from Moore no one has done so many Bond films, and b) being the pioneer, he is trying different things depending upon the story and the tone of the film
Coming to his films, they are all iconic and unique. Most of the elements/sequences from his films have been rehashed in other films. Below is my current rating for his films:
1. FRWL
2. DN
3. GF
4. TB
5. YOLT
6. DAF

" Sex on legs"
Those first 4 are gold - wish I had been about back then
My mrs prefers the older connery then the younger
Are you one of those people who believes Connery is actually playing Bond in The Rock?
And the whole Connery playing Bond in the Rock is a very interesting theory and was fun to envision on my last watch of that film.
Alpha Male should be. Cool, decisive always in control. Even
In real life Connery was " The Man" the well know story of him
Knocking out a local London ganster who had a gun on him at
the time, what a Legend! {[]
I haven't seen The Rock in a long time but Connery usually appears to me as 007 ) .... Take The Entrapment, Indiana Jones, etc. for e.g.
he played it like a retired Bond.

PS Can we add The Rock to the list of retired Bond films )
There are actually parts of his character in The Rock that imply he is Bond. The Rock is on the level of Never Say Never Again. He's playing Bond but it's not a Bond film. It's kind of like how it's can be believed that Patrick McGoohan played John Drake in The Prisoner, even though it's not mentioned explicitly.
I don't think of Connery as Bond in Indiana Jones, or in many other films like Zardoz.
He also has some brilliant lines in " The Rock" -{
I need to revisit The Rock :007)
this is not combat, it's an act of lunacy, General Sir. Personally, I think you're a f*cking idiot.

Well, it's certainly more enjoyable than my average day... reading philosophy, avoiding gang rape in the washrooms... though, it's less of a problem these days. Maybe I'm losing my sex appeal.
Leaving Las Vegas is my fave of his.
Just his more recent stuff put me off him for some reason
Think maybe since I saw the shocking Wickerman remake!!!!
was offered to him.
He seems on another planet of late!!
He is very good looking, and as a guy, I even find his good-looks something that adds a magnet to the screen!
Like Roger Moore, he makes those films as good as they are - IMO the Lazenby, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig films could be acted by someone else. With RM and SC's ones, no way.
