For the figure collectors - SPECTRE clothing set in 1/6

Having built and hand painted figures for years, I was pleased to see this new 1/6 clothing set announced today.. (weapon & figure not included.. only clothing.. )

As Its from Asia... it will most assuredly be packaged under some absurd name like "Agent Daniel" etc... There is one company that predominantly does WW2 figures but almost all of their releases just coincidentally look like famous actors who just coincidentally may have been in a WW2 unit depicting a soldier in the exact same unit as their figure release etc... well, they completely hit a foul ball when they did just a regular WW2 german soldier recently but the likeness of the figure's face was that of a famous European footballer.. yeah.. that did NOT go over well.. lawsuits were filed.. drama ensued.. all that aside.. I have some very well done resin head sculpts an artist in HK did of D.Craig I have yet to paint.. this clothing set has me inspired to get back in my studio and get them painted in preparation for picking this clothing set up..

it's really a pitty that the marketing for the new Bonds is so small:
I'm missing:
• sideshow figures
• corgi die-casts
• toys, ect...

^^ Agreed… although I would have loved it if Hot Toys had gotten the bond license.. I would have killed for a HT quality 1/6 figure of Bond in his barbour jacket and AW hunting rifle

Also the die cast cars… curious to see how the 1/18 DB10 looks… and I understand that one of the die cast car companies is releasing the same model/color of the Aston from OHMSS this coming year… those are on my wish list..

While I'm waiting for my Magic Cube Austrian outfit set, my $17 Hot Toys-like body from eBay arrived today from China along with the "Eleven" headsculpt that Magic Cube used to model their outfit set, also from China. What to do with a nude Daniel Craig figure in the meantime? Here it is

The chair is a 1/6th scale "Thonet Stuhl #14" made by Vitra Design Museum. I originally got it for a set-up of a literary Bond figure that I customized years ago. I also had a "tall glass" and a small seltzer bottle set custom made in real glass by doll house miniature craftsmen (a glass guy and a metal guy). Sorry for the blurry image which I've posted here before and I'd take a new one, but this figure is currently "in flux" and it will eventually go back on that chair.

From ch. 6 of FRWL, "Death Warrant":

"General G. opened the file and took out a large envelope containing photographs which he emptied on to the glass surface of the desk...

The first was dated 1946. It showed a dark young man sitting at a table outside a sunlit cafe. There was a tall glass beside him on the table and a soda-water siphon. The right forearm rested on the table and there was a cigarette between the fingers of the right hand that hung negligently down from the edge of the table. The legs were crossed in that attitude that only an Englishman adopts-with the right ankle resting on the left knee and the left hand grasping the ankle. It was a careless pose... "

The third was from 1951. Taken from the left flank, quite close, it showed the same man in a dark suit, without a hat,

Thanks! It's actually the quickest figure set-up I ever did! The figure came naked, I took some rubber bands to bind Daniel Craig to the chair and I just had set aside Pussy Galore for the moment, who was keeping the chair warm for Literary Bond until he comes back!
