the modern man wears tight jeans, lumberjack-shirts and outta-space shoes.
the modern man spots a trimmed full-beard and thick black glasses.
he uses facial-creams and goes to manicure/pedicure.
the modern man has a shaved body. he's very interested in social media.
He gives a lot about political correctnes and goes shopping with cotton bags.
He eats salad wit fat-free dressing.
He cries and shows emotional depth.
The modern man has a feminine side and is not affraid to show it.
Where do I want to go with this? I'm sure many of you have seen a lot of guys arround fitting with my description. I've seen them while I was in school and now they're arround and about in town.
I was wondering why the picture of a man changed that drastically?
to be precise, eventhough he's not my no.1 Bond, Sir Sean is the stereotype of what I would call a man.

so, of course I exaggerated a bit, but you know what I mean. what your oppinion on that change?

Yes, let's not mistake a fictional character Connery played with the real man he probably was. Just because he didn't cry on screen doesn't mean he never cried in real life. And would anyone want to be a man who cannot cry anyway?
{[] And I live in a delightfully non-pc country too
Everythings's a fad these days, from Marvel, Star Wars, James Bond etc
Like I've loved those things since I was a kid, Just so many late teens early 20's jump on bandwagons. Whether it be fashion, movies or whatever.
But my personal hate is the bloody man bun. Jesus wept.

as ours. I'm sure our father's generation didn't think much of US either. )
you brought up something interesting: man bun
what do these people think, they look like an onion. It's just slightly worse than the undercut which was going on two years ago ?:)
Someone to discover they're an asshole, but these save you a
Lot of time.

the time will come that they notice it was slightly odd looking

It's so true though hahaha ).
You know when meeting new people, or being introduced to friends of a friend I usually don't say much but I like to listen to how much full of manure they are. I always borrow the line from Jackie Chan in Rush Hour;
"Not being able to speak is not the same as not speaking. You seem as if you like to talk. I like to let people talk who like to talk. It makes it easier to find out how full of **** they are." )
Does anyone notice what modern men drink?
I'd say Jack Daniels is the current "cool" drink that the hipsters drink. Or Captain Morgan's Rum.

The ones that are around my age (20) drink any booze to get knocked up. but believe it or not, the girls are even worse on the alcohol
Yeah women seem to throw as much back as they can in a short amount of time. I like to pace myself.

I did the daft faddy things when I was a teenager, clothes, hair etc. It stopped in my early twenties. I hated skinny jeans when I was 14, but wore them. At 40 I see others wearing them now and wince. "That was me nearly thirty years ago."
Every generation does it. Every generation looks back and cringes, or laughs. I prefer to laugh.
Mullet, white jacket with white shirt, thin red leather tie. Arms of shirt and Jacket
pulled up to the elbows ! ........................ Damn, I was Gorgeous ! )
