Surely every space movie makes the same compromise. Sound in space, visible lasers,
space craft "banking", explosions etc, they're all guilty of it.
Not just that, but the sound of the lasers... PEW PEW??? 8-) ???
And the lasers hit people on the station & kill them but leave NO BURN MARKS!?!?!?

I'm not saying I agree with his list, but we're just fans with opinions!
As much as I like Calvin's videos and his hilariousness, he favours the Pierce Brosnan Bond films dearly, dislikes For Your Eyes Only and loathes Timothy Dalton's Bond. This is just me but the material Pierce Brosnan had to work with and his type of films were horrendous. Goldeneye was definitely an impressive film, to which I still enjoy immensely. He likes the humor in Bond, rather than the seriousness. We did agree on one thing though, his soft spot for A View To A Kill.
I really don't understand how people can dislike TLD for reasons other than superficial ones (villain/Kara etc.) because it is such a solid production.
I don't consider BVs or BGs superficial aspects of a Bond film. In fact, I'd say they're central to the Bond formula. Having said this, one can like a Bond film and have issues with a BG or a BV. To outright dislike a Bond film though, well, it takes quite a bit, as they're likely to have some redeeming aspect(s) somewhere even if they annoy elsewhere.
