I thought this is worth an own thread. In short: I got the actuall table used in the Austria scenes.
but here's the full story:
Novembre 2015: A friend of my mother tells her, that the furniture seen in the austrian scenes of SPECTRE come from a shop in bavaria and they sent us this link: http://www.sueddeutsche.de/muenchen/landkreismuenchen/kino-woher-die-moebel-aus-dem-neuen-bond-film-kommen-1.2722457
So, I did some research on their shop and as it turned out, they are based only a 45min-drive away from us.
The next day I gave them a call, in order to check out if the stuff was still available. It was By the weekend, we drove there to see what they have that you see in the movie. Turns out, they had all the tables, chaires and cupboards and had them assembled a bit like you can see them in the movie. The heartpiece of their presentation was the table, where Bond and Mr.White are talking, with the chess board. And that caught my eye. I asked for the price and of course about the story why the Bond production supposedly used furniture from bavaria.
Here's the story:
the set designer from the Bond team needed some austrian-esque looking furniture (duuh) but since England doesn't have any mountains, he/ she thought of a befriended german colleague. This colleague knows the people, I bought it of. So, a small team came to see what they'll need and after that, the items were shipped to Pinewood studios and then after filming had wrapped, back to bavaria.
Back to me, I asked about the price and agreed to buy it, and after a wait of 2 months, we picked it up this morning.
Here it is:
(Just to get this straight: this is not a replica, or a table of the same brand; it is the actuall table, where Mr.White killed himself)
Here's a comparision shot with a still (red markings show, it's the original one)
Daniel Craig's seat
The draw's the same, too
the details match up
Blood, Sweat and Bond shots
details of the table:
- size: bottom: 68cm x 68cm
height: 76cm
- the wood is oak
- table was made in1725
- Daniel Craig and Jesper Christensen not included
the table comes with COA and I got a free poster
FYI: they still have stuff, that's seen in the movie e.g.: chairs, a mirror,...
That's it, you made it to the bottom
I think it's safe to say, it's the Holy Grail of my collection.

they still have a few chairs, that can be seen in the background, a mirror with an antler, another table and I think a cupboard
Congratulations!
