As for how many more we'll get altogether, I do think Bond will become pretty much like Sherlock Holmes or Dracula and in some form outlive us all. However, it IS a family business and if Eon every decides to sell the Bond rights altogether and someone else starts making the films, I doubt it would ever be as classic as FRWL, CR, etc. I hope Bond stays in the family as anyone else might be tempted to seriously change the character/universe. Getting back to the time factor, I think it's best the filmmakers try to keep a 2-3 year span between films as much as possible. The general public really does lose connection after more than 2 years. I've had conversations with people who assumed the series was over after LTK, DAD, and QoS just because there hadn't been a current film in the works. Then it becomes an issue of having to reintroduce the character again to a new audience. We've been lucky it's worked each time and GE, CR and so forth have been hits, otherwise we might not be having these discussions today.
I want, nay, need a 5th from him, posssibly a 6th too, but I'd settle for just a 5th. With Blofeld back, I want that garden of death filming.

EON, get off your collective arses & just cast Dan's WIFE as the next Bond girl!! He'd certainly come back!!!*

2. I think a Blofeld trilogy makes sense. Realistically it would work best with back to back shooting, which I'd love. Let that be released 2017-2018 and then new bond for 2020. That would be my ideal hope. I understand with production times taking longer and with bigger name actors doing other projects, that could be a very tight timeline.
I'd be happy with one more from Daniel Craig (and I like Chrisisall's suggestion for the casting of Rachel Weisz - hopefully as Gala Brand) as I'd like to see what fate befalls Dr Swann.
With Dr Swann's character I envisage 2 possible scenarios, either 1. she gets killed off, or 2. she falls out of love with Bond. Either way he returns back to active duty. With scenario 2, why not introduce a child (born out of wedlock) to keep her somewhat tied to Bond, even if it's only in discussion, like Tracey was to the pre-retcon Bond.
But I ramble. I'd like Daniel Craig to do one more, but only if it's funny. The last 3 films have been somewhat devoid of humour, and I can see Daniel Craig has the potential for dry wit - let's see it. Nothing outrageous, but I would like to giggle every now and then.

I reckon we don't need a trilogy, persay, but just one more, and I would be happy.
Would love like. Shatterhand tie in.
But please, no Bond gone rogue.
Make it a proper mission

Cast Rachel Weisz as the mysterious 009 we keep getting teased about. I don't believe 009 is referred by a particular sex so it could work. I vote for Vivienne Michel as the character name - a literal spy who loved me! Gala Brand should be the name of a villain or a Plenty O'Toole-type secondary character.
And cast Tilda Swinton as Irma Bunt to Waltz's Blofeld.

I think Mrs Craig would be terrific either as an opposite number or colleague.

I think 1 more, but I really hope 2!
Would be great to get a proper Blofeld trilogy in Daniel Craig's era. It'll probably cement his era of Bond films to be the best one in the franchise. (He already had a great run as it is now)
I have a strange feeling that he will only do one more. Probably EON will try to get him back with BIG money for another one, but that depends very much on how successfully the next one will be.
I feel, that Eon had high hopes to surpass Skyfall which Spectre didn't - so they may explore alternative actors/concepts very soon and very seriously.
I'm surprised so many people thought Spectre would outperform SF at the box office. I don't think Bond movies are destined for 1+billion dollars in box office every time out. I just think SF had all the right things going for it. 4 year absence. 50 year anniversary. Phenominal reviews. Great catchy song. I don't think many people were expecting that to be the norm.
In fact if there able to get 800mill per Bond they should be ecstatic. That's a great amount. So to say they are dissapointed I disagree.
But I think DC does one more. I don't think he's done and the longer it goes the more likely it is he is back.
I'd like to see him do another 2, I doubt it will happen as I think we'll get the 2nd part of the Blofeld story. Ideally, I'd want to see Bond given a mission, been too long since we had that. How about Craig doing another 2, next one being a lone mission, before bringing Blofeld back, finish his story and after that start afresh with a new face as 007?

It's like CM Punk quitting WWE , he's got enough money saved up so it's more WWE needing him than vice versa.
