Considering that at the Christies auction in December just gone number 14 of 19 AM DB4 GT Zagato went for $14.3million (OK some believe the design to be the most beautiful in the world) I called it quite badly on the price this would fetch when I suggested £10million+ a little while back.
But Bond connection. 1 of only 10. Would have thought it would go for more. I can only guess that the fact it's not road legal weakened interest, because after all, you want to drive and show off such a car.
Now having read the small print in the auction, I will also change my tune and would suggest it is doubtful you'll ever see that car become road legal, because the design has never been crash tested and never will. So someone bought a track only Aston Martin, but still quite cheaply for what they got IMO.

Im most shocked by the Day of the Dead costume! going for as much as it did thats about 4x as much as the TF Tuxedo.
Cufflinks I expected as thats what the skyfall one's went for which are arguabley nicer albeit these ones were made from a semi-preascious stone, will be interetsing to see what the MoP one fetch next week!

Thanks so much Meesta Bond!!! Dayum so many bond fans with so much money hahaha
Would anyone know where i can get a soft copy of the catalogue for this times auction?
And is it possible to watch the bid on youtube or do they have a video link?
Cheers guys
I wonder who bought the db
Thank you... but that's for the Spectre auction, which I have downloaded from Christie's as most of us interested have. What I'm after is the previous Christie's auction catalogue, the one they did in 2012 for the 50th anniversary, which AFAIK had a wider and more interesting selection of items. Higgins has kindly offered help, so I should be covered.
