The craziest Bond item I bought must have been the Douglas Pell money clip. It is on screen for about .2 of a nanosecond, but hey, it's Bond so I got to have it!

In that case my most expensive item is currently the XPERIA Z3 Compact used by Bond in SPECTRE. It's on the screen for maybe 2 seconds tops during the car chase and I paid almost 300$ for it... :))

A white Turnbull & Asser, French Cuff shirt...for now.
I'll be getting a Baron Boutique Birdseye suit next year or a peacoat.
    Also next year I'll get a 2220.80. Don't worry, you'll be the first to know :) .
    a reasonable rate of return

Craziest has to be the hair spray they used on Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace...insanity.

    But does it work??? :))

Craziest? Probably the TF Rome tie bar cocktail cuff shirt because I usually only buy Bond wardrobe pieces and products that I can get good use out of but have yet to wear that shirt and I bought it a day or two before the film came out.

I've been enjoying this thread and thinking, I've bought a lot of Bond stuff over the years, some of it relatively expensive (or rather, really hard to justify when you have a family to support) but nothing crazy... then I remembered I bought a BMW Z3 after Goldeneye 8-) :# :)) Though I recently bought a Menlo at a really great price but still struggle with justifying the cost...

31-44.000 Dollars for a 2-door, 3 series Bimmer? :)) :)) :)), though I will admit that the 4 door 3 series was an excellent car in its time but getting a BMW roadster is... :)).
I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. It would've been much better if you bought it used when it was at a fraction of its price.
    a reasonable rate of return

Yeah, the Menlo holds its value much better than the Z3.... :))

Maybe not that crazy for fans, but I once tried to explain to friends about buying clothing swatch cards for QoS and Skyfall

They looked at me like I was crazy, paying for cut up bits of used clothing... :s

I always wanted it. Luckily after October 2015 it was ridiculously affordable. Strange.

Mine would have to be the Matchless blouson, its a great piece but not worth the 1200 euros and 300 AUD for custom charges. I'd possibly add the Church's Ryder iii boots - absolutely love them but crazy expensive.
  • PeppermillPeppermill DelftPosts: 2,860MI6 Agent
I don't agree that the Ryders are very expensive. At least not for what you are getting. A well made pair of shoes can last you a long time when you take care of it.

Great pics! Amazing car, and great collection. But, I have a question about the Nighthawk Driving Glasses: where were they seen in the movie and are they Bond's? I don't remember seeing Bond wear any sunglasses in OHMSS. This is one of those things where I am way late on realizing it, isn't it? :))

Doh! :)) my lord, how did that pass me over!? Thanks Miles. How in the world did you guys identify these? Quite impressive. I couldn't find anything about these via the usual channels. Oh well, now I've got a new style of James Bond sunglasses to acquire and sport, so I'm pretty freakin' excited about this belated find. Cheers gentlemen {[]

Wow, beautiful... Astons are the most extreme Bond purchases, but once bitten you cant go back...

I might be in trouble as the new Vantage later this year is very DB10 ish... The pics ive been allowed to see look amazing. Cant share unfortunately. As long as the engine remains more Aston than Merc...

Will try to post an impressionist pic in a bit
