Well said TP, Who are these people? They should be rooted out and dealt with the old fashioned way as sometimes " the old ways are best"
As you know I'm a non ranker as I find something to love in each and every Bond film ( except NSNA)
I too tire of somes constant barrage of criticism and those who take their personal as fact ie I dont like QoS so therefore it's a crap film. I'd suggest these members would find better company in the other place. Of course we are all entitled to our opinions but sometimes these opinions are put forward in such a way they flirt with trollism. Long live bond
I love to think that Bond must have changed a lot more than we just so think. It's not only the movies, it's the gaming industry too, or how the books by Fleming were quite groundbraking at the time. Or the way we (or well atleast I do) pick our clothes. Bond is a lot deeper embedded in our society than we think. -{
Don't confuse me with the other DutchBondFan, but be sure to follow his YouTube account. You can read my articles on James Bond Nederland: www.jamesbond.nl/author/gosse/
Criticism (constructive, negative, positive) is the basis of the discussion though? We're on a forum that talks about the same thing over and over, surely there has to be some criticism to generate chatter?
There's constructive criticism and personal opinion then there's the naysayers and doom merchants who seem to revel in derogatory discussion and seem to like tearing every thing bond to shreds, a difference of opinion is healthy and discussing the issues necessary on a bond forum.
Sometimes you can spend so much time pulling a tapestry apart looking for
a faulty stitch. That you actually can no longer see the beauty of the complete
work. Or with painting, I'd much rather look upon and enjoy the finished masterpiece,
than spend years analysing, the artists brushstrokes or mix of pigment on a microscopic
level.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
naw, if you're going to watch something more than once, you're going to have to find new things that you didn't see the first time. If you're going to watch the same film fifty times, you're going to start seeing the brushstokes so to speak. Some of those tricks they use to tell the story are pretty cool, once you pay enough attention to notice them.
Watching TLD on ITV4 and 4+1, ( I'm switching between ad breaks ) I really think the PTS is
One of the Best ! -{ great location and Dalton does plenty of his own action sequences. The later
Plane stunt set piece, with the fight on the netting. Is a series highlight -{ with no CGI, simply
Talented, brave stuntmen -{

It's one of my favourite PTSes. The score is stunning and so to the intro of Dalton after the two others. Brilliant.
Sadly it seems another wave of finding fault with the
Bonds are upon us. So time for my therapy to kick in , I
Need to Praise these films again.
Firstly I love them ALL , where others see faults I see
Individuality, trying new ideas, and there's still nothing
Better than driving along listening to a Bond score.
And Absolutely no movie series has brought a cinema
Audience so many weird/outlandish/over the top, brilliant
Cast of characters/ stunt work, and entertainment.
Instead of being critical, I instead would like to thank
Everyone involved in bringing these fantastic movies
In to my life. -{
I agree 100%, Thunderpussy. Finest single post I have read in months.
Negative criticism that does not allow a nuanced appreciation always feels counterproductive to me. Just an opinion.
We can all learn from your enthusiasm
"I'm beginning to like you Mr. Bond."
"Mmm...call me James."

It's terrific.

I guess that this has a lot to do with the free booze that they‘ve been pouring out to prevent that it‘s getting too cold below your skirts )
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
and that's " Eejit "
