Interest in exchanging Tom Ford SNOWDON FT 0237 05B vs. FT 0237 52N ?

Sirs,

I´m offering a pair of brand-new Tom Ford SNOWDON FT 0237 05B (shiny black).
I would like to exchange them for a new pair of the FT 0237 52N (havana).

May be someone likes the black frame better than the havana frame.

Please let me know if you´re interested in buying the black ones as well.

Best regards,
7

    Let's face it guys: you'll have to get both versions, just like I had to :))

    What's your price on the black ones?

    I for one am perfectly happy with my Shiny Black ones and can't see myself changing to the Havanas, which to me at least seem to be a bit too similar to the CR Persols, colourwise. I'm not against them, I just happen to appreciate the 05B's uniqueness and have gotten compliments on them. If I was buying them today, yes, I'd probably go for SA but I WOULD consider the blacks nevertheless.

    On a side note, I had the chance to try the Henry's during a recent trip and was disappointed with how they look on me: the bridge is way too high and they end up being the least favouring TF shades I've ever tried on. Pity as those seem to be a forum favourite. Curious to know if any other member has the same problem...

    I haven't tried on the Henry's, but I have tried on other brands Clubmasters. I really like the look of the Ray Bans. Persol makes a version as well, so you can get the look without buying Tom Ford. Maybe one of the others has a bridge more to your liking.

    I have tried on both the Shiny Black and Havana Snowdons, I too prefer the look of the shiny black.

    I have the black and even although the Havana are obvs screen accurate, the black suited me more so I've kept my 05B's.

    Just my two-bobs worth! Good luck -{

    I prefer the gradient lens on the 05B's and like you, have received several compliments along the way! Quite happy :)

    Us Bond geeks aside, I'm not sure Joe Public would recognise them as Bond anyway! :))

    I also have the shiny black Snowdons, but I'm not too bothered about getting the SA havana ones because the Snowdons are my least favorite of the DC TF sunglasses.They feel a lot flimsier and easily breakable compared to the solid construction of the Henrys and Markos.
