Eaglemoss DB5 1:8 scale replica now available as completed model

Some good news for those who have missed out on this beauty, the 1/8 scale replica of the goldfinger db5, which was released as a weekly magazine-based kit.

To my mind it's still the most authentic model of the DB5 yet offered, in any scale, though those fortunate to own the Diamond Cars version with working smoke and rear shield may disagree...

It's not cheap, but given their performance in various auctions, £1299 seems fair.

The limited run of 200 doesn't seem excessive either and shouldn't trim investment potential of these, nor the handmade versions.

Remmert has all the details at Bondlifestyle...

    The article states:
"The first completed model to be shipped is being offered through a competition run by 007.com."

Looked at the website but couldn't find any mention of a competition?
If anyone knows where info can be found please add link here.

Precisely - sadly a common occurance these days, not just at Tom ford ...

I have total faith in Remert and his excellent site.

I find it unlikely that they will manage to assemble 200 of these with full working features. I have never had enough courage to even put batteries in mine!

    Oh bugger & sod! :(

    Hi DB,

Thank you for your email. We unfortunately no longer sell or stock the DB5 collection as it finished around 3-4 years ago.

    Kind regards

    Robert

Looks like I was right. they were probably optimistic that they could put together 200 models from leftover parts. But then they actually tried... :)) :)) :))
