WANTED: TF knit morocco tie in correct colour

Indeed - a lot of us have a similar TF one but the colours are reverse (rust on the back side instead of the front)

It was prob not hard to find at the time however we never knew back then

That particular version of the tie was never available in the US either. I spoke to my contact at TF and had him run the style number that was on the TF tag that Skippy had posted in the Spectre Clothing thread. My contact told me it was never released to any US TF boutique or other US retailers, if indeed that is the correct knit tie. There were at least two or three other brown knit ties available last year from TF.

One thing I noticed when over in London in October etc was Harrods had many DC items that ive not seen elsewhere etc. As if a lot of his stuff bought in Harrods so to speak

E.g. Moncler that the TF solden was based on was exclusive to Harrods, TF Morrocco tie now found there and a lot of the personal promo wear ZZegna bomber, Canali jacket etc was all there

Try the TF flagship store in Sloane Street round the corner too; Kadd posted in the TF sticky thread that they have a full re-stock of SPECTRE ties, which might mean the Morocco tie too.


As a side note, I recently managed to get hold of the Niewman Marcus TF version of the Morocco tie in both brown and blue two tones. Haven't had time to compare them yet (or take measurements of the SA tie for someone here who wanted them), but at first glance I think the SA TF knit tie is a lighter shade of brown to the reverse of the NM version. I'll post some pics up soon.

Nope no Morocco tie at the TF Sloane st store. All the others were there though

Yeah its not part of the SPECTRE collection so makes sense (it probably was picked up and added by costume dept rather then specifically designed for like the other ties etc)

I'd be very curious to hear your comparison of the two, and hopefully see side-by-side pics, as I have the NM tie. It's two-tone, and oddly enough, the weave on the reverse side looks different than the front side. Here's a pic of it that I posted in the Clothing thread-

The width doesnt look quite right in the pictures and the site doesnt give details.
Am I correct in assuming that this is the one that you have?

The Gagliardi jacket is a two button style, the one in the pictures above looks like a 3 roll 2 style. The Gagliardi is a smart linen jacket though!

No, that's yet another brown knit tie from TF. The one I picked up was from last year. It was on sale at Neiman Marcus just after the holidays for 1/2 price and sold out pretty fast. The ones available now, like the one in the link you provided, are from the current season. That one is definitely wider.
