Some Bond villains have seemed spineless, some Bond girls have worn backless dresses, but I'm not sure that the series would survive a Bond without a back.
I'm not expecting anything until at least early summer next year, I've settled into the DC is still bond and coming back until I hear differently mode!
Indeed they do, it seems the rumour machine goes into overdrive on very little real information.
He really didn't help though did he. It's not just the clumsy comments out of context, but the demeanor not just of Daniel, but all the key players could only muster lack lustre support. They seemed bored. It was a pretty poor show all around during the release. This as much as anything has fueled the rumour machine. Also the lack of any plans or distribution deal drives speculation. Maybe it's what they want, so perhaps it was planned like this all along a bit like the retrofit brother shtick.

Or maybe there just is no news! Maybe distribution deal negotiations are on going, maybe a longer gap was planned and I'd wager work is underway on script/ story and after all sp was only released last November, it's only a year old!
Just caught a few minutes of a film I'd never heard of before, "Risen". A biblical mystery story concerning the death (and possible Resurrection) of Jesus Christ. Not my cup of tea, but looked like it was well made. Anyway, the film starred the little brother of the current M, Joseph Fiennes. Couldn't help but think how good he would be in the role of 007. The marketing potential would be kind of cool too.
I would like Craig to return and do one more Bond film, but go out on a positive note. I love Spectre, unlike the majority of Bond fans and think it's my favourite DC Bond.

SP is also my favourite DC Bond film (I don't love it), but people here have convinced me that Bond driving off in the DB5 at the end of the film was a good ending to his run as Bond.
I'm a bit bewildered as to what would make the ending of SPECTRE a good ending to Craig's run as Bond. I have a hard time buying the whole idea of Bond walking off with the girl and leaving the Service....well at least Madeleine Swann as portrayed by Lea Seydoux. In my mind, Bond and Madeleine go off and have a nice fling until duty calls and Bond returns for the next assignment and Madeleine goes back to the clinic or writes a self-help book or whatever. The PPK tossed into the river is easily replaced or upgraded with something else. I really dislike this "Bond limbo" we are currently in.
It’s certainly awkward, Blofeld still alive and therefore able to escape from MI6, Bond we assume, off doing the wild thing someplace with the daughter of a former Spectre operative. I enjoyed Craig’s run as Bond, in fact it resurrected my interest in the James Bond story and the movies, but if he moved on as Connery did, I don’t believe that with the readymade audience for Bond films, the story line will end.

Well the ending of spectre sure has left people guessing
Dan will be back for one more

I don't need to be doing the writers' job for them -- goodness knows they could use some help though -- but the easiest way to do the next movie is to make Swann a double agent. She's been leading Bond on all along, perhaps while working for Blofeld.

"- That is something to be afraid of."
Anyway, when are we going to get some concrete news about the next Bond (irrespective of whether he has a back?)
In two days time around 12:32PM because I said so.
This is absolutely true. Until he quits, he's still Bond. People forget this.
