Sad news. She was probably the first Bond girl I ever knew of, and I think she made more of an impression than any other has, along with Ursula Andress.
RIP Honor Blackman, one of my favourite leading ladies from the Bond series. Also, she was the only Bond girl that I ever saw in real life, when she was the compère at a Bond music concert that I went to in the UK back in 2007.

That's sad news. Strangely, I was only thinking about her the other day and that she was coming 95 this year. Honor Blackman was an iconic Bond actress as Pussy Galore. I also liked her role in an episode of my other favourite show Columbo. I also remember her appearing in The Upper Hand when I was growing up.
"The tough man of the world. The Secret Agent. The man who was only a silhouette." - Ian Fleming, Moonraker (1955).
I still think it's funny that it was a video store girl who introduced me to the James Bond series. I was far too young and many things were over my head. I think a Bond director mentioned once how some jokes kids wouldn't get. Or that if they did, they would be a bit too old for their own good. But Pussy Galore was one of those things for me. I just thought that was her name, I didn't get it till years later. Now I have to be kind of careful saying that Pussy Galore is one of my top 5 or so Bond Girls in public.
I thought Pussy Galore was a cool character that could fly planes and had a whole team of female pilots. Plus she was tough and could use a gun and throw Bond around.
I still have a bunch of Honor Blackman's movies and TV shows that I want to check out.
RIP Earl Cameron, who played Pinder in Thunderball. Originally from Bermuda, he became one of the first British black actors to become a star, also appearing in The Prisoner and Doctor Who.
sad to see Honour Blackman at the top of the page and Diana Rigg at the bottom...
EDIT: I am sure we all wish she really were just having a rest...
but here is her final scene from the Avengers, which was also a rather poignant farewell...

More and more Bond girls are leaving us for the hereafter, and I'm particularly saddened by Tracy's second departure
Rest well, Contessa Teresa

Enjoyed that, thanks for posting. Got to say Steed, much as I like the new girl, the one that got away was better!

Sad to report the passing of art director Alan Tomkin. Alan worked on several Bond films including Dr. No, A View to A Kill and Casino Royale as well as A Bridge Too Far, The Empire Strikes Back, Memphis Belle, Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, Batman Begins and many more.

Indeed, how sad it feels that my two favourite Bond ladies have passed on within the space of just a few months.

Michael Lonsdale as Drax is one of my favourite villains. His delivery was perfect, a terrific actor.
Alan Tomkins was such a talent. Contributed greatly to some of the greatest films in cinematic history.
RIP
I’ve met him so many times over the years at shows and at Pinewood, a lovely, lovely man - God bless you Alan RIP.
