Half-fun, half-serious....
Wife & I are expecting our first child - a daughter - in a couple of weeks. We think we're going to use my mother's name as a middle name, but we don't have a clear frontrunner for a first name. My surname is Germanic and one syllable so it's been hard to come up with name combinations that sound "right".
Has anyone named their daughter after a Bond Girl, or ever thought that a Bond Girl name would make a good name for a "real life" little one? I will tell you that "Madeleine" is actually on our short list, but "Jinx" and "Plenty" are not ) ....

" I don't listen to hip hop!"
But I guess there are lots of realistic ones to go for.
Jill, Tilly, Fiona, Tracy, Tiffany, Rosie, Naomi, Melina, Stacey, Kara, Pam, Natalya, Paris, Miranda, Camile...
Or maybe a bit more in between like Vesper, Severine or Tatiana!

Tatiana is a very realistic name, and I've known many. I'm sitting in an office with a Tatiana right now. I don't think Vesper and Severine are good characters to name a child after. Vesper is a liar and a cheat, whilst Severine is a prostitute.
Joking aside, Ilse is a good name too.
" I don't listen to hip hop!"
Certainly better than Van Cleef and Arpels
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I guess if it's Brandt, for the true Bond homage you may want to consider Helga
Bibi Brandt? )
May I suggest (but feel free to tell me to shut up) looking at names of the Bond girl actresses as well? Some of these might be good names too, and perhaps a bit more subtle than some of the Bond girl names: Eva (Green), Rosamund (Pike), Naomie (Harris), Sophie (Marceau), Gemma (Arterton), Lois (Maxwell & Chiles), Michelle (Yeoh), Kristina (Wayborn), Caterina (Murino). Then the not-so-subtle ones: Claudine (Auger), Luciana (Paluzzi), Daniela (Bianchi), Izabella (Scorupco).
Congratulations on the coming arrival, and whatever name you decide, make sure to tell us! -{
As for Bond characters, I rather like Teresa (or Tracy). Fleming doesn't present many few-syllable options to go along with my surname. From the films: Kara, Paris...or Anya. None of which are any more jarring than the Scot/Brit names I matched up with the extremely German last name ;%
"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
Avoid 'Peaceful Fountains of Desire' (DAD) 'Dink' (GF) and 'Chew Mee' (TMWTGG)
I believe there was Judy (Havelock), and of course, Rosa, but I'd kick that one (pun absolutely intended).
Chastity, Patience, Charity, Hope, ..........
And congrats on your daughter! -{
