Your story ideas for Bond 25

I don't know if there is a thread for this in any other topic, but I was interested to hear some people's ideas for Bond 25 (rather than a future film in general).

Film begins 1 of 2 ways, at most a month or two after Spectre's end:

1. Elaborate Blofeld escape action sequence leading into opening credits.... OR

2. Bond and Swann taking in the sights either near the Eiffel Tower or Great Wall of China.... brief expository dialogue that makes the ending of Spectre clear: is Bond really gone? Or is he just vacationing? Or.....?

Suddenly, massive action sequence in which assassination attempt is made on Bond by Spectre goons..... Madeleine is injured. (Not killed: this already happened with Vesper.)

But while she recovers, there is dialogue about how they both realize that his job is being an agent and he has to go back, how she's not safe with him. It will be an ironic callback to Casino Royale's recovery scene at the villa with Bond and Vesper. (Whereas Bond and Vesper grew closer, this is where Bond and Swann realize they can't be together.)

Or, as a callback to Quantum of Solace's ending, that conversation of Madeleine recovering and Bond realizing she's in danger if he's near and must leave her can happen at the very end, a callback to Bond walking away and dropping Vesper's necklace, symbolizing that he's moving on.

OPENING CREDITS

This is all I have so far. lol

But I do know that if Craig is back, Waltz must be, and so must Hinx.

And there should be more exposition on the link between Quantum and Spectre.

And the next big threat, as the producers were saying, could be....

Collateral damage? Batman vs Superman and Captain America Civil War are dealing with this..... perhaps Blofeld is manipulating 2 countries into war with false intel (kinda like Carver or Guy Pearce in Iron Man 3, creating supply and creating demand, etc.)

Or we can go back to nuclear\bomb ransom?

The next big threat is probably all the crap chemicals they put in food. So Blofeld can somehow have a hand in that about how there's so much crap chemicals in food today that he's adding a certain different chemical in untraceable amounts and within 20-30 years people will be sick and he will have the cure? (The producers are looking for the next big threat, and I honestly think this is it: as someone who loves meat and cold cuts like turkey and lean pastrami, I have learned that sodium nitrite is everywhere and it is terrifying.... gotta start buying meat without that preservative. There are correlations between sodium nitrite and increased cancer risk... And then all of a sudden you realize how processed EVERY thing we eat is.....)

That's it.

The film has to include Blofeld being sprung out of prison in a most elaborate perhaps even Mission Impossible way.

Then I hope there is an attempt on Madeline's life but Bond foils it killing SPECTRE goons.

Bond then has to make sure Madeline is safe so puts her in the care of perhaps felix leiter.

Bond is then well pissed off and attempts to track down Blofeld following the trail like sherlock holmes would do and killing everyone in his way.

Final sequence Bond tracks Blofeld down to his castle, he has to go through the poisoned garden, a fight on the battlements, Blofeld is killed Bond falls. (As per the novel You Only Live Twice)

Start of Bond 26 we find out Bond has sufferred amnesia for 5 years (new actor for 007) and keeps getting flashbacks about Valentine Zukovsky a KGB agent. This leads Bond to travel to Moscow to find answers only to be abducted by the KGB where he is brainwashed. After time he is sent to London to assassinate M which he tries to do, however a protective screen drops which stops Bond being succesfull. (this is an unused story element from the Man With The Golden Golden novel)

Would like to see Blofeld escape somehow and Bond in the Far East again!!

Maybe the garden of death scenario fits this!!!

New mission - no references to the details of the SPECTRE film. I'd rather it's ignored and feature Blofeld and SPECTRE in it's glory. Just a standalone mission, dealing with the recent tension regarding Russia, China, Korea or the Middle East.

A one film break from SPECTRE (especially since linked to the last 4 films) prob wouldnt be a bad thing

I would be all up for continuation once again, especially if Craig does return for a fifth!

Love that idea! Would make a very unique PTS or start right after the opening titles!

I would be all up for starting a Blofeld trilogy too! Though, with a potential actor change in Bond 25 or 26, it might not be as wise for the continuation...

How would you guys feel if Bond married Madeleine Swann in Bond 25? While I think it's a risky move, it's would make for a great tribute to OHMSS and it would easily makes Craig era of Bond movies a very Flemingisque era that will be tough to rival for all future actors in the role! (presuming Craig does Bond 25 too)

It depends on how many more movies Craig does. If Bond 25 is his last, Blofeld escapes in the PTS. If B26 is his last, The plot should be about a mission that seems unrealted to the movie SPECTRE. Then it turns out at the end it was all to spring Blofeld from prison in a spectacular scene. In any case the "garden of death" should feature.

I also think Bond should visit the Arctic. It would be unique and spectacular. One of the scenes should be a submarine surfacing from under the ice.

Simply having Bond marry a Bond girl because Fleming had Bond marry a Bond girl doesn't make the film, or era Flemingesque. What makes a Bond film Flemingesque is it being a well written spy travelogue with a touch of bizarre and humour with a great helping of sex and danger. The 'love' story between Bond and Madeleine was one of the poorest of the series. I didn't think, for a moment, that Bond loved her, until it was constantly forced upon me to buy into. The relationship between Bond and Natalya, Kara or even Aki, felt much more genuine and better developed. If anything, I would have preferred Bond settle down with one of them.

But I had a brilliant idea a couple of posts ago of setting parts of Bond 25 in the Arctic, ideally with a scene featuring a submarine surfacing. I want attention for my idea and ME! ATTENTION!! ME! ME! X-(

I have two ideas:

Idea #1) The organization SPECTRE begins to unravel with Blofeld in custody. Blofeld's fail-safe plan is activated. A hit man targets Bond and Madeline, while setting up SPECTRE's doomsday, genocide device (which could be anything from a giant laser to an under-cooked can of tuna). This would throw some nods to TMWTGG and MR. Anyway Bond kills the hit-man, saves the world, Madeline is killed, Bond resigns as 007, sinks into depression, returns as the new 'M'. Issues an order stating that double 0's need more protection for their families and hereby installs the CODE NAME James Bond, along with fictitious family histories, to all future agents assigned to #007. Muuuahhaaahhahhhaa!!!!!!!

Idea #2) Something with invisible cars, an ice palace and Madonna.

Just the fact that you have to og back to 1968 to find a movie featuring a submarine in the Arctic speaks about how unusual a scene like this would be.

But it's the only movie you can think of with such a scene, and there are many ways to shoot such a scene. Only imagine how many brawls in saloons or car chases in LA you have seen in movies - surely there is room of one more with a sub in the Arctic?

Not to mention: Not everyone lives in Britain: I have never seen "It's a wonderful life" "Brief encounter" or any Ealing comedy. Few Norwegians have seen Zulu.
What is in your cultural memory isn't necceserily a part of everyone elses. And Norway is closer to British culture than most European countries.

Bond with a husky team could be interesting, I've even seen footage of dogs being used to
pull people in parachutes ? I'm certain an exciting sequence could be invented. only
do it for real, no crappy cgi.
