I am sure Simon and Ross are numb with Thank Yous by now but had to add my own into the mix....Thank You! The tie is fantastic and despite a misspelling of my name on the box, all looks superb....

Thank you guys for sorting the tie, exquisite
Cheers Paul for shirt, one size down from you given your sizings probs is def v helpful 8-)

    DSC_0945.jpg

Congrats on the tie, Mark. Nice box.

So you got the OB shirt. I had considered it, but really wasn't sure of the sizing and whether this was a model where you had to size up. Is the size working for you?

    How's WJ doing?

Wasnt going to do the OB but pretty much know im one size down from Paul, if it didnt fit him it would me. XL is a comfortable slim fit. L would make me look like lycra man...

Tie is great and bar the BC jacket (love my MnS alternative tho) completes another one...

W is "adjusting" after a traumatic 3 weeks (3 surgeries / 2 emergency ones)... But now no stoma and no oxygen... Just taking time for his tum / bum to settle. Cheers Steve...

Glad everyone is receiving and loving their ties, I got mine last week when I was traveling in the USA, along with the BC belt which someone here picked up for me so it was a good week!

    Hi

Its detailed in a thread on here somewhere. It was a linen blend in the perfect colour, slim fit. Around £80 from memory. Pretty sure its discontinued now though.

Just got back from holiday and neighbour passed a FedEx box to me. Wanted to pass on my thanks to Simon, Ross and TF for making this project happen. Great work guys. Also wanted to echo the comment from BTB about the TF QoS Harrington project being definitely dead. I know Simon dangled a carrot on page 7 of this thread so was just checking. I would 100% be in for one if we could get this project off the ground. Thanks again. {[]

What knot is used in the movie? I noted that DC wears the tie quite short ... considering that he is not such a tall guy at 5'10" or less(correct me if I am wrong).

My tie is still in its box but all the pictures of the outfit I have seen so far, show a rather long tie ,,,

    Toughts?

It's tied in a four-in-hand knot, since the knot is asymmetrical. Could be a double-four-in-hand.

On some of the continuity sheets they referred to Bond's tie's as being done in a "school boy knot" which I believe is the same as a four-in-hand

hm four in a hand is a very small knot and would keep the tie rather long ,,, but DC´s tie ends a hand width above the belt ... either he has a bigger neck or a shorter tie ...

I'd say neck thickness has a bit to do with it, mainly because of where the traps meet the neck (and I bet his traps were huge for this movie)

Thanks Brosnan! Here is the rundown:

1.) Shirt: Zara basic white shirt super slim fit
2.) Pants: Banana Republic Kentfield Slim in taupe.
    3.) Tie: Obvious :)
4.) Jacket: SuitSupply Lazio fit in brown (also came with matching slacks).
5.) Shoes: JCrew MacAlister desert boot in suede
6.) Belt: Lord and Taylor brown weave belt

In regards to the jacket, I liked a particular Brunello wool/silk jacket (not the SA version) but darker with some texture. I decided to look for an alternative with similar texture and color. I ended up finding one at SuitSupply and I couldn't be happier. Excellent quality and a great look. They also have a "Hudson" fit in a similar color.

I've attached another pic below showing the outfit in natural light (with the TF Henry).
