I see you got the tie shorter by tying a Windsor knot.

A four-in-hand knot is only very small if your tie is narrow and has a thin lining. Knitted ties don't have a lining but are thicker than most ties, so they will never have a very small knot. With the point collars that Craig wears in Spectre, a four-in-hand is really the only knot that will fit in that collar with a knitted tie.

Can someone who has the tie try a double-four-in-hand and see how it looks? It's like a four-in-hand knot but with an extra wrap-around. Though some people feed the wide blade through both wrap-arounds, only feed through the outer one for a less dandy-ish look.

Here are some photos of my version of the Morocco outfit.

    http://postimg.cc/gallery/21jdt4g9o/

The outfit looks great man! I would love to know what each piece is (shoes, pants, jacket, etc.)

Thanks Brosnan! Here is the rundown:

1.) Shirt: Zara basic white shirt super slim fit
2.) Pants: Banana Republic Kentfield Slim in taupe.
    3.) Tie: Obvious :)
4.) Jacket: SuitSupply Lazio fit in brown (also came with matching slacks).
5.) Shoes: JCrew MacAlister desert boot in suede
6.) Belt: Lord and Taylor brown weave belt

In regards to the jacket, I liked a particular Brunello wool/silk jacket (not the SA version) but darker with some texture. I decided to look for an alternative with similar texture and color. I ended up finding one at SuitSupply and I couldn't be happier. Excellent quality and a great look. They also have a "Hudson" fit in a similar color.

I've attached another pic below showing the outfit in natural light (with the TF Henry).

Nailed it! goes to show that you don't need the exact items to recreate a look perfectly.

Hi there, I know that it's too late to request to be part of this order, but I've only recently joined!

I would be interested if any other tie runs are done, such as any Skyfall or Quantum ties, I was fortunate last year to get 5 of the 7 Spectre ties as well as the silk handkerchief!

    Many thanks

    ***UPDATE***
Ties will start shipping on June 8th so everyone who ordered should expect to receive them soon after that.

Right folks Ross (jared_nomak) and myself have been tirelessly working away with TF Milan trying to get them to remake the TF Morocco tie and they have finally agreed with the caveat that there needs to be 40 ties made since they are reweaving the fabric. The details are as follows:

    - Each client is allowed to buy a maximum of 4 ties.
    - The ties will be sold only through the Tom Ford Milan Store, upon reaching 40 people here you will be provided with contact and payment details.
    - TF will proceed on ordering the ties only having reached nr. 40 pre-payments.
    - Having reached nr 40 pre-payments the ties will arrive at Milan store in 60 days approx.
    - The tie will be packed in a box and the shipping costs are 20 euro for European destinations (excluded Switzerland), for NON European destinations the shipping costs are 30 euro.
    - The unit cost for a tie is 160 euro tax included, for NON European destinations the ties will cost 160 euro -22% that is which is 131,15 euro.

Last count we had 21 people interested listed here, If you are no longer interested please let us know so you can be removed from the list, if you wish to order more than one tie also please let us know.

Sadden's me when people get in on these things, buy one tie and then try to profit so quickly!

There was only 6 members, myself included that purchased a second tie and to the best of my knowledge most of them did so to give or sell the tie to a friend at cost.

Simon I have an original one of these ties from before this run (possibly the only one in a JB collectors hands - you should know this as you used my pictures of it in one of your posts to advertise this run); never said anything about looking making a profit (I just was not looking to give it away); and have my first child due to January (so thought it might be good to free up some funds when I have two of these and someone else wants one).

I do find it tiresome that people on this forum can be so quick to be negative and judgemental. So I'll withdraw my offer, as I would not want to be seen as some sort of profiteer 8-)

If anyone is interested, I have one of the near SA TF ties for sale. This is the reverse tie from Neiman Marcus. I ended up getting in on the re-run of the SA version, so I am letting this one go. It has never been worn. A couple things to note:

    1) I removed the Tom Ford label from the correct side, as I was planning to wear it the correct way. It can be seen in the photos. I'll include that to the buyer (can easily be sewn back on if you want it to be)
    2) There is a small snag in the knit fabric on the light side. I have included a photo that shows it. Unfortunately, it was like that when I got it from Neiman Marcus - but it was the last one they had, so couldn't be picky at the time.

I paid $175 for this tie at the time. I'd like to get back what I paid for it, but am open to offers. For now, I'm keeping it US sales only. Paypal payment preferred.

    PM if interested.

Sent a PM but wanted to make a quick public apology here as I jumped the gun a bit and was not connecting the dot's! none of us would have this tie if it was not for Skippy finding the original so I shouldn't have been so quick to quick to jump on this one ;%

Just to quickly address this now I have reappeared...

Simon, absolutely no offence taken, particularly as I have to thank you for setting me on the right detective trail to obtain this grail item :D
