Bit harsh - it's not as if he's playing Hamlet! I would think even Daniel Craig would struggle with a script like this...Bag of Bones, more like Bag of Shi....

Brosnan played a great Bond in his and of his time where bridging the gap between farce and seriousness was needed. But he isn't exactly a great actor. Emotional depth isn't his forte amongst other acting abilities. I'm grateful he was Bond in that time, just as I'm grateful Uncle Rog was in his. They kept the continuum.

I've watched the whole thing as a Stephen King fan and while Brosnan wasn't ideal casting (a shade too old... now where have I heard that before?) thought he did ok. It wasn't a great adaptation.
