DC owned a V8 Vantage in USA

Just been chatting with a UK AM dealer about possible colours

Bit bored of greys. Apparently DC owned a V8 in mako blue, US car traded through AM US

Bit of research and its confirmed on MI6

Hmmmm decisions!!!

I know, but in a real quandry. Astons values were always historically better if one of the fifty shades of grey. Now they are definitely "pushing on" with brighter colours

At AM Newc last week, not a grey in sight. All bronzes greens blues etc

About to buy another and after a chain of greys, my heart says go another colourway... Really like mako blue

DC owning one adds another tick to the box

And it matches my eyes :))

It's not Jon Voit's LeBaron, though.

    This brings back memories.

Aston had a competition where the prize was something like a wheelnut and a slap from Marek Reichman in return for naming the new colour for the V12 vantage.

As the colour was a shade of blue, I suggested 'Rayleigh Blue', reasons being described here.

In the end some half arsed crap won with 'mako'....

Check the AM glove compartment, there might be an owner's manual for "Daniel Graig"

I like Rayleigh better, myself. Excellent suggestion. Mako is too nebulous. Are they naming it after the shark, the actor, the Orient watch, Geronimo's grandfather, the 1963 Mako Shark concept car?

Steve, Sar is the Terminator, dont fancy bright red glowing!

And mako was after the shark - fast and agile apparently...

But regardless of daft names. This looks v nice

    Great looking car, M. -{

Wouldn't the BMW sedan from TND be more practical? Room for the entire family. :p :D
