SPECTRE Train fight sequence Ice Pick

During the SPECTRE train fight scene between Bond and Mr. Hinx, Bond picks up a small Ice Pick from a tray that is on the floor and attempts to stab Mr Hinx with it until it finally ends up embedded in the bar.

The scene only lasts about 3-4 seconds, and since seeing the film for the first time I have always been curious as to whether it was a readily available product and have spent some time searching for it.

Well at 3am this morning having a cup of tea, I decided to have a quick search on my Iphone ....... lo and behold I found it.

It is a Japanese Anvil Ice Pick made by Yamachu and is readily available to buy for around $50-60 with free postage (depending where you look) it measure about 7 inches in length, there is a 9 inch version but I think that one is to long.

So for any AJB’ers who want to add an Ice Pick to their Bond drinks cabinet CHEERS -{

Picked one up a couple of weeks ago in the US, was about to release the info to AJB and JBL but you beat me to it ) It is def the 7 inch but colours seem to be a bit of a lottery, I got lucky and mine matches the screen perfectly.

I can confirm that Andy made this discovery a few weeks ago and, while he was nice enough to share it with me, swore me to secrecy until he posted the info on the board. Great detective work kudos to you both. I picked one up myself and it is a really nice prop from the film at a fairly inexpensive price. I suggest getting one for your next party in case you need to chisel away at an ice block for your drinks. --Ed
