M&S cocktail cuff shirt

I know another member posted about these shirts and I took the plunge and ordered one and I'm pleased I did. Very good quality and 'dress quality' (even though I know cocktail cuff is a more relaxed version of dress).
I've got a couple of Magnoli's version, a white and blue one, and they are good but a softer fabric more suited to 'top button undone' casual wear.

    For info:

It's the Shrewsbury 1 fabric with classic point collar, white pearl buttons and slim fit: cost £55.00

Just waiting for the TF tie and that will be the Morocco outfit complete!

Where did you get the jacket and trousers for your Morocco outfit, or did you go straight to BC - no messing about!

I wish I could go straight to BC :), but no, I've gone for the more frugal route! If you want to see the real stuff go to Meesta Bawnds posts. I have the SA BC chinos and will soon have the TF tie (thanks to Sruzgar and Ross). The belt is a Ralph Lauren and the jacket is from a firm in Malta (Linen not a mix and close in colour). The boots are Aldo's (from aforementioned Meesta Bawnd, thanks again :D ) shirt as seen here. Sunglasses are SA TF Henry's.
Some great guys on here (Welshboy included) that have helped me build up my collection and Magnoli for some ties.
    Love this forum!

Defo will do a picture when the tie arrives when hopefully the weather up here will be something like Morocco, at the moment it's more like Gustav Graves lair - we had snow on Sat night/Sunday morning!

I don't suppose you could link to this on the M&S site could you?

    Also, how's the fit? Slim?

It's made to measure, so it fits how you want it to.

It doesn't look like they ship to the states, which is a shame because that cuff looks good.

I had an email confirming that the made-to-measure is for the UK only.

Strange that they call it made-to-measure as you cannot input your actual measurements...yet they want to know weight, height and age?

The part that said "Add your measurements for the perfect fit" fooled me. I see that it's actually made to order.

Hi - did you go for any of the "Contrast" options - not sure what they mean with these and wondered what you chose , also how is the shirt wearing?

    Thanks

Didn't go for any 'contrast options' which I presume is for different colour collar and or cuffs etc.
    This was my order details.
    Design
    Collar:Classic Point
    Sleeve:Cocktail
    Placket & Buttons: Folded
    Button Colour:White Pearl
    Stich Colour: Matching Stitching
    Base Hem: Straight
    Fabric Shrewsbury 1
    Modern Classics
    White
    plain
    100% Egyptian cotton
    Easy-Iron and Easy-Care Technology
    Satin weave

The shirt is very comfortable and the collar is firm and substantial. I've worn the shirt a couple of times with both suit and blazer & pants. Once with my SP TF blue /purplish tie I bought from Welshboy and it looked great. Washed well and ironed as I would expect a M&S shirt to, so overall I'm very pleased and am thinking of ordering another one (in blue) soon.
Waiting for the Morocco tie to arrive some time today so wil be looking to pair it up with shirt :D
