Skyfall TF Suit Question

So basically I really like the suits from Skyfall, it actually made me interested in wearing suits, ties and clothing that is way to expensive )
I basically have the PTS scene suit, tie, etc. and was looking at getting or getting something like the rope suit from Skyfall, this is my second favorite suit that DC has worn since taking on JB.
This is the only suit that comes close that I have seen, how do you think it compares?

I know that it is not SA as it doesn't have the three button cuffs and isn't the O'Connor cut, etc. I am mostly looking at the color and stripes.
Also if you happen to have one in a 40R or 40C let me know

As a guy who owns several and has bought/sold over a dozen of TF, just be careful buying used stuff online. Most of the time its been tailored (even though the pics may not show it) so you wont know what's done to it (again not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. If its quality tailoring no big deal but i've encountered dry cleaner type tailoring on TF suits and it really messes the suit up). I would allocate an additional $150 in tailoring costs in addition to the purchase price.
1.) BUTTONS: Be sure all buttons are engraved TOM FORD on the bottom of the button (if they are not then they are replacement buttons of who knows what type of quality. TF uses genuine horn)
2.): UNITFC: Be sure its not an employee uniform. Employee uniform suits (contrary to what some have said) are not made in china but in the same Zegna factories produced right next to mainline TF but due to the garment not technically being allowed to be sold the tags are cut and marked UNITFC. There is no difference in quality (that I have personally seen. These suits are given to employees as a way to showcase the suits however there is a stigma when buying TF uniforms as they frequently go for a considerable amount less than mainline TF)
3.) SHOULDER SEAM: Be sure that the suit has the slanting Italian style shoulder seam. Ive run across pre-owned TF that have a straight shoulder seam. TF does not produce any suit like this unless its a Bespoke one. Nor shoulder they are it really does not look right...
4.) CUFFS: New TF suits are delivered with unfinished cuffs unless requested. All suits should have 5 button (or 3 button a la Skyfall) working cuffs with the LAST BUTTON HOLE BEING LARGER (slightly longer/elongated than the rest). If the suit has an odd number of buttonholes (like 4 buttonholes or 5 ones all the same length) then this probably was done by a tailor not at TF.
5.) LABELS: The labels can date the suit. They switched the label in 2014 as well as the fit designations. The suit above is pre-2014 due to the label.
6.) SLEEVE LENGTH: TF suits typically have 1.5 inches from the last enlarged buttonhole to the end of the cuff. Many times individuals buy pre-owned TF and need the sleeves shortened and they do this from the end of the sleeve taking the sleeve up thus making the last button holes closer to the sleeve edge which throws off proportion. Always examine the sleeve edge. if the button holes look really close to the sleeve edge then this is what was done.
7.) REDLINE: There is a TF outlet in NYC and they frequently redline their tags (at least they used to) which indicates the garment had been on sale at one point.
All of the above are just things ive personally run across. Now, encountering these does not mean the suit is ruined or tainted in anyway. I just run across sellers who claim "oh yeah, this suit has NEVER been touched or altered and yet has all of the above characteristics lol).
In regards to the similarities, I understand your point. However I am not really down with getting one custom made to be exact. Hell I bought one from you this year that is close to the PTS skyfall suit (which is awesome).
Very true that once you go TF all else looks cheap.
Very helpful !
