What to wear with a Solden Jacket?

I'm trying to think of things I could wear with a Royale Solden Jacket. I've been having trouble and I'm on the fence about buying it. Could you guys maybe post some pictures of things you've paired it with that have turned out nicely. Would you say this is a casual jacket or more formal and what's your preference on it being zipped up or unzipped.

Thank you!

I bought some black wool ski style trousers, which I wear with mine for the full screen type look but I only wear this when I've been out and about in winter with walking boots, it does look good with a blue mock turtle neck, and some dark wash jeans, Ive worn brown, blue and black chukka boots with this. Also worn mine over a dark grey t shirt with some mid blue scotch and soda ralstons.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

This image of Bradley Cooper from the Hangover 2 should inspire you, as it has me, even though it is a Harrington and the colors are quite reminiscent of the QoS Haiti outfit.

I have a similar alternative to the Solden jacket: a Michael Kors mixed media jacket.

You could pair it with some white chinos, easily obtainable for no more than $20 from Kohls, JCPenney, etc.

And you can pair the chinos and jacket with a simple Hanes shirt as I plan to, or a nice long sleeve tee. (Subscribe to Hanes e-mails, as they often have free shipping deals.)

Although I just realized that you may want to wear something a bit higher quality than Hanes with that Solden jacket. lol
    Yes. Consssssiderably.

    Yeah, definitely casuacasual.
You could wear jeans and a t-shirts or a henley underneath.
Though would stay away from collared shirts, even polos.

I also treat it like a colder weather harrington, pairing it with lighter colored pants but usually a corresponding color shirt....

The Solden jacket is blue and charcoal color, so very easy to match. This is my favorite Spectre item. I highly recommend you to buy one :)

I have the Banana Republic alternative and have found that it really works better as a mid layer, underneath another jacket, at least here in the northeast US. I had it on underneath my goose down jacket and it was actually quite nice.

I have to agree, Royale's Solden Jacket "interpretation" is bang on in my opinion and has been worn loads since I bought it, only now is it in the wardrobe while we have some sun here in the UK. Meticulous attention to SA details and really comfortable and warm. Worn with a long sleeve Henley or black/navy blue t-shirt mostly and black trousers for a Solden look. Or go with lighter trouser options as per The Mantis, watch his "frugal Solden" video for a deeper insight and a real up-close look at the jacket. Royale's V2 Solden might be even better so I'd get on that waiting list if I were you.

I have the Moncler version in navy and I wear with navy turtle neck and black 501's and black boots - works for me for daily wear.

    Cheers :-)

Mantis, what Trousers are you wearing in these photos? Nice combination with the Solden Jacket and J Crew Kentons.

Does anyone wear the jacket as a mid-layer? If so, what do you wear as the upper ?

I've worn it a few times under a tweed jacket on really cold days. Looks good together and keeps me toasty!
