Omega skyfall: early watch porn Wednesday

Very excited after months of searching I tracked down an unworn Omega Skyfall which arrived today.Local Omega boutique fantastic in verifying serial numbers etc. I had planned on immediately replacing bracelet with a NATO strap I bought a few months ago but now will get the bracelet adjusted and wear it for a while before I decide.So after almost 15 years retiring my Tag Heuer chronometer.

I wondered about that but David told me he had a Casino Royale PO with a NATO for his Bond experience vlogs and I think that was the biggest PO. I've had a rubber strap on my Tag so will try a change

Yeah I think the CR po is what they called big size, the skyfall po is 42mm but a bit thicker/taller and heavier I think, I tried mine on a nato and it seemed with the double layer of strap under the watch it sat very high on my wrist, I've never seen a CR po in the flesh so I can't compare the two. If it's an omega nato that's different again. As they are more robust than a lot of the others( as they should be for the money) I've worn my Sf po loads it's really quite worn in now

New POs are a lot thicker then the old 2500 ones if I remember rightly so prob best not to compare to CR version

The Skyfall PO is an 8500 movement and the case back bulges out a good deal more than on the 2500. The CR rubber strap looks good on it, though!
