Oliver Wicks Experiences

I'm about to pull the trigger on an Oliver Wicks suit, specifically this one here as it appears to be very similar to the one in the opening scene of Spectre.

Has anyone on here dealt with them before? So far, their customer service seems to be very good, though I am also curious about the end fit and fabric quality that they provide. Any and all comments are welcome!
Thanks.

Also, I could be wrong but I think MattS did a collaboration with them on Spy inspired suits.
Hope it helps!
Your second request has an easy solution: Request the sleeves to be made without buttonholes and have your tailor make the buttonholes. NEVER order a jacket online with cut buttonholes on the sleeves. It makes altering sleeve length later very difficult and costly (or sometimes impossible). You never know how long the sleeves need to be because different types of shoulder construction mean sleeve lengths will be different. Daniel Craig's sleeve length on his Brunello Cucinelli jackets could be an inch shorter than the sleeve length on his Tom Ford jackets because of the shoulders.
Online choice options that I chose:
3" notch lapels
Single vent
Three roll two button configuration
Slanted pockets
Full canvas construction
Pick stitching
Boutonniere option
Two back pockets
Suspender buttons
Side Tabs instead of belt loops
Then via email for a couple of weeks:
Roped shoulders
Tailored higher armholes
Tight tapered waist
Shorter jacket length
Close-fitting chest
Lapel roll to match that of Spectre
I referenced this awesome article with its diagram: http://thesuitsofjamesbond.com/basted-for-bond-examining-daniel-craigs-tom-ford-clothes-in-spectre/
The only thing I was told that couldn't be done was the curved barchetta breast pocket. As a personal preference, I opted for no cuffs/turn ups on my trousers.
Customer service has been incredible with the only downside being the time difference so I would also get my email reply from Polly around 3am and try to catch her with my reply by 6am (obviously this is totally understandable).
Not yet. I used the coupon code to get the free vest and in the order instructions, I linked the diagram used by thesuitsofjamesbond.com. In the "Basted for Bond" diagram I sent them, the vest is a 6 button design. About a week after I placed my order, I was back on their site messing around and selected a suit with the vest option. At that point, I learned their standard was only 5 buttons.
I sent them a quick email to confirm that mine would be a 6 button vest, as outlined in my instructions. I received a response Saturday morning from Bobby saying that the fabric was already ordered and 5 button vest was already being made. He went ahead and placed another order for more fabric to make the 6 button vest. Just hours before his email came through, I received the automated response stating that they would reply on Monday following the weekend. So he not only went above and beyond by getting back to me over the weekend, but also went forward with making a new vest for me!
To make it all even better, I got an email from Polly the next day saying that because the 6 button vest will take a couple extra days, they would like to apologize by including BOTH vests with the order. Although I don't know what I will do with two nearly identical vests in a blue windowpane/Prince of Wales pattern, I still am extremely impressed with the service I've been receiving. For that reason, I don't mind waiting a couple of extra days )
As I've told Polly and Bobby over email, if their suit is half of what their customer service is, I will be very impressed!
I'll update this thread when I get m suit, but I'd love to see yours when it gets in and any comments/critiques you have on it, MFisher.
I'm impressed they're sending you both waistcoats. Bond has mostly been a 6-button-waistcoat man, since that's the most traditional style. I've noticed that most online makers make their 6-button waistcoats with the buttons too far apart and thus with the opening too high, so after you see how they come out the 5-button waistcoat could be more like Bond's. Please share photos of both waistcoats with us.
They made side adjusters for me on my last pair of trousers that were very similar to the Tom Ford style, only centred on the waistband rather than on the seam. Were those not what you got? On a previous pair the side adjusters were not done so well, but I had my tailor fix them.
Matt, I would be curious as to compare those then to that of MFisher's. Could you also post a picture of yours when you have a chance?
I'd be happy to post photos of mine. I'm away for the weekend but I'll probably have a chance later next week.
I was a little nervous about the color because they make the glen check pattern look very bright on their website, but after seeing it in person and wearing it, I would say it is much more subdued (like in the PTS in Spectre). The iPhone pictures don't do the fabric justice, and it is very luxurious to the touch and in person. It came in a nice garment bag with a great hangar that had my jacket, pants, and two vests on it (see above posts for why I received two vests). The jacket's sleeves are about half an inch too short. I specifically requested the jacket be made with a shorter length and think it is spot on with what I wanted. The pants are about a half inch too short as well, though they fit me better than any other pair of pants I've ever worn. They are slim, but not a skinny fit. I've never had pants that hug my legs so well without making it look like I'm wearing skinny jeans. The side tabs work like a charm, and will definitely be on all of my pants I purchase in the future. The 6-button vest is definitely my preferred of the two as it rides higher on me and is much more apparent that I have a vest on when wearing my jacket. The 5-button rides a little lower and thus shows more shirt. Despite all of that, I still am very pleased with my purchase and was like a little kid on Christmas trying it all on. Overall, the fit blows anything else I've ever worn out of the water, even with the couple length discrepancies. All I have ever bought and worn are department, off the rack suits. I've always desired the fit of a suit where it actually morphs around my body, though never achieved it. Those days are now behind me.
I've yet to email Oliver Wicks yet, but I am very happy with my experience with them and will be getting a grey pick and pick suit for my next purchase. I may add more pictures to this once I bring it in to my tailor to see what they can do about the sleeve and pant length, but below are two pictures. The first is what I originally received and the second is the suit on me, minus the vest (just missing the royal blue tie as worn in Spectre).
