OK summer is coming (supposedly) and by chance I acquired my grail a pair of Jack Purcell OTRs (thanks Craig you are a scholar!) so I thought I would complete my rig. Low and behold I found in this years season Next have linen trousers with tie and belt loops (there is a god). But now the dilemma original were sage but they only do grey or stone. Checking out the picture seems colour is somewhere in between so would you go grey or stone?

Thought I would ask the experts!

Cheers :-)

    Good look! :007)
I'd say that the second picture, stone, is more SA.

Congrats - looks great! I agree with TeenageBond - the 2nd pic is more accurate.

Is that a custom made shirt?

Thanks I was actually all for the grey but now the stone are growing on me. They may washout or fade over time.

Shirt is one of Indys made to measures I have had for a few years

    Cheers :-)

    Hi

I went for the regular fit I have big calves slim fit would not work for me. Also given that original free running scene was in a hot clime figured originals would be the same.

    Cheers :007)

I have 4 pairs of the Next linen trousers, in different colours. They're great for the price a good budget alternative.

I bought these last year in Stone for a one and only club look. I also bought some in chalk also for a thunderball Palmyra lunch outfit to wear with a butchers stripe shirt.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

Joshua sorry typical bad British humour and a word stolen from the Aussies. There used to be a TV ad that was from Australia where the quote was 'Strewth he's got no strides on' basically no trousers on.

Double meaning Strides in Oz vs Trousers in U.K. or Pants in US all with the same meaning

But in the U.K. Also meand step or pace i.e Strude out or take a step

    Cheers :007)

Thankyou. I knew that the word stride and strides mean to step and I thought that the discussion was about how the men ran through the scene! :s This is when i was confused about seeing the trousers!
