Im pleased for France, they need something to celebrate after all the tragedy they've had recently, now hopefully they will beat Portugal and wipe the smirk of Ronaldos face.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

I've said all along that Germany lacked a striker - and never was that more obvious than tonight.
In this particular match, definitely I agree. However Müller in top form (or even just regular form, anything but what he is in now) would have sufficed and Gomez (criticized for years but now in top form) did play that role adequately well until he got injured. So I think after years and years of good fortune we now simply had a "streak" (= 1 match) of bad luck. Also, nobody can EVER replace Miro Klose. Not even klose if you know what I mean.

I'm annoyed that Wales got beat by Portugal now. I didn't fancy Wales getting utterly turned over by Germany in the Final, but I wouldn't have minded them getting beat by France on home turf - and they might even have won imo.

I agree with most what has been said here.
If Löw stays* I am sure that he'll adopt his system accordingly.
Strikers don't grow on trees but what we've seen from Sane yesterday and Kimmich/Draxler over the tournament gives us a bright future. So the problem is not limited to having/not having a striker.
Plus with a bit of better luck, Müller and Kimmich would have scored yesterday and Sir Miles would keep his mouth shut
*I am hearing that Klopp extended but am wondering if he has an exit-option if Löw's job becomes vacant.
I am pretty sure he has

I think you've managed to 'get by' without a striker UNTIL you played a good side...Italy are nothing special - and were written off by most (even their own fans) before the Finals...
Müller has been poor but he's a wonderful player - I still think he needs to play behind a striker though.
Kimmich has been a revelation for me - hadn't heard of him before...Draxler only shone in short bursts (and Arsenal tried to buy him 3 years ago)...add Can and Tah to the list of good young Germans coming through as well (undoubtedly plenty of others too)...
Klopp signed a new 6 year contract today - no idea about a 'release clause' and it makes no difference as LFC don't abide by them anyway - remember Suarez )
Speaking as a Non sport watching person. I loved last night's match, totally thrilling,
and I think it shows the determination of the German team, that they never quit !
Kept attacking, even in the last minutes of extra time. -{. As we know some teams
Just fall apart, in a similar situation.

I like Klopp very much. Him and LFC do seem made for each other.

Absolutely -{
He was superb from the off, said all the right things and really 'tapped' into the LFC fan mentality...you can see the work he does, the passion he has - the fans love him.
Even my parents (who are Man Utd fans) like him )

So Gareth Southgate is the new guy. Well if Wenger takes over next summer there'll be no tournament and hence no penalty shoot-outs in between. Otherwise though... :v

Southgate is for four games only - but it's basically an audition for him...but I don't think he'll get the job full time.

Klopp does not wear green trainers ! Neither is he a Cockwomble !
So you differ there - in the important stuff
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Not the best team at the Finals but credit where it's due - at least it was a goal fit to win the trophy !
They looked better without Ronaldo though

So much for a big name )
At least he will sort out the defense and Egos I suppose!!!!
And realistically he's got to be better then Woy and the Swede
Well, he should do because the England team that played in Soccer Aid were much better than the team that went to the Euro's )
