Now that warm weather is here is it time for another run of the Royale version of the Skyfall swim trunks? The smallest size available on the site is a 32, which fits a 35" waist!

The 35" refers to the actual measured waist dimensions of the short in that size, not the buyers waist size. So if you usually take a 32" waist, that should be fine. The shorts also have the adjusting tabs on the sizes, so that can get you an inch or so tighter as well.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand how that makes any sense at all...yes, vanity sizing and getting rid of standardized sizing in the 80s makes it trickier to buy pants now. I'm sure that others have had this problem; I don't usually take a "size 32" - depending on where I go I take anywhere from a size 29 to 33 waist!. However, a person's waist size is a person's waist size so that's what I always base measurements on.
For example, I measured pants that I wear and they all have a waist size of 31" or 32" regardless of what size the manufacturer says. So if I want an item of clothing with a 32" waist I need it to measure 32", not 35".
As well, the idea of using waist adjusters to make something small enough to fit regularly isn't a good idea to me because then the material is folded up and looks terrible. Clothes should fit properly when you buy them and in my experience side adjusters work much better in theory than in practice:

There's also the fact (discussed in previous posts here) that when swim shorts get wet they tend to loosen up a bit.
Sorry for all the detail but I recently had an exasperating issue with sizing when purchasing "made to order" clothing online.
So back to the original question - will there be another run of these trunks?
One thing I've noticed, however, is that low-rise trousers and such logically may have a larger waist than the marked size. I have a 32" waist so I wear size 32 trousers. But if the trousers sit lower than my waist they need to be larger because my body is larger below my waist. They are still sized to match someone with my waist size, even if the trousers don't sit up at my waist. If I were to wear low-rise trousers, I would need the top opening to be 35", even though my waist is still only 32". The number on the trousers is for my waist, not the trousers' waist.
I own a pair, but am on the other end of the scale. Mine are so damn tight that I've been wearing them in place of having a vasectomy!!!
