So which main concepts from the books have not been filmed yet?

So which main concepts from the bond books have not been filmed yet? If anyone could produce a list, each with a comment of how likely you think they are to be included in a bond film in the future, that would be great.

I'll admit, I've only read a few of the Fleming novels, but there is one concept I'd really like to see. The train sequence from DAF. I could imagine a rich old man/super villain really would have a fully restored steam locomotive that he would bring guests on to show off his wealth.

The garden of death is the obvious one, I would love to see that in a bond film.
Also pretty much the man with the golden gun! The novel shares very little with the film, and with bond having amnesia and being brainwashed in the beginning it would lend itself to easing in the new Bond in #25. I also quite like the idea of Bond back in the Caribbean, though it's been done.... A lot.

Bond eating breakfast. Scrambled eggs, black coffee etc

Those are main concepts from the books that haven't appeared much in the movies. )

(Sean's idea of "breakfast" in Dr. No was sipping his coffee. He didn't even eat anything)

Well the novel FRWL had an ''evil counterpart'' for M named G that didn't appear in the movie.

He was the head of SMERSH but since that isn't a thing anymore perhaps he could be rebranded into a different kind of villain?

Nice idea. Eon though would probably incorporate it into a family rivalry with G being M's long lost step brother from another Mother twice removed, and retcon all of the films into a new expanded universe where all of the story lines don't quite work anymore. :007)
