I could have done this myself, so I wanted to thank all my supporters and Sir Miles who made me a better person (particularly when people see me standing next to him ).

I refer you to my post #522. Contrary to many opinions on here I think Trump will be good for both the US and the World. His acceptance speech shows he can be a statesman. The silent majority has come to the fore in the last few years which is why polls are irrelevant in modern society.
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Everyone I've spoken to today is shocked and worried. A woman working with finding jobs for the unemployed said: "Yesterday I thought Norway's (mild) recession after the fall in the oil price was over. Now all bets are off for the economy."
I don't think it is all doom and gloom, a shame these things are run on a slander and salacious nature as opposed to pure politics.
What trump says to rabble rouse and in the fervour of a campaign and what he actually does do will be very different.
Dear Rosie, what you say is "We are fortunate to live in a country where people are free to cast a vote. My choice may have lost but that means we must raise our policies to a level where the majority wish to have them followed. Until then we support the government to do it's best for us all".
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Well the truth is finally out. Toblerone is losing TWO alps!!!!! As it's made by an American company I'm urging the new president to right this travesty!
I'll try to be more constructive I'll ask some questions:
- Who do you think will be in Trump's cabinet?
- Given his age, will he run for a second term?

Lots to say, but I'm short on sleep & must do it later.
At least Hillary proved that there IS a limit to how much obvious corruption even a Democrat can get away with.

There has to be pros and cons!
I sincerely believe that people in the Presidential vote and brexit referendum voted with their conscious and rejected more of the same they voted for a change even if that change might have bad repercussions. They took a chance on the hope things may change for a better future they rebuked the status quo and nothing ever changing... Time will tell.
Did anyone in Europe stay up all night to follow the election?
I stayed up til 2 am. Then went to bed safe in the assumption Hillary would win, but with a small margin.
I set my watch to 5 am, turned on the radio and enjoyed a small heart attack.

Let me also express my disapointment and anger at Hillary Clinton, who managed to lose this election because of a series of deplorable decisions.

Congrats American on electing a guy who by his own admission likes to "grab 'em by the pussy".
