HRC's support of a military coup in Honduras that ousted the democratically-elected president):
SOP for us. what's your point?
Oh, so it's OK for the US to engage in the violent overthrow of multiple legitimate governments, but when RT runs a couple of stories on the HRC emails it's time to initiate another Cold War? You sir are the definition of the Ugly American, and you're apparently too dense to recognize the connection between American intervention abroad and "blowback" in the form of terrorism like 9/11.
Let's start with the fact that I'm neither "right wing" nor "left"; I'm libertarian. I voted for Gary Johnson.
Well, most libertarian, I see them on the the right wing of the right wingers
We are calling them market radicals.
Market is King, don't care if we are robbing the poor 3 rd world, about what happens to nature to those who can't compete, who afford to act morally and not only money driven.
It's an egoist point of view favourable for those as long as they can compete in the rat race.
Even for you this is a remarkable display of ignorance.
From Wikipedia, which shares your leftward bent:
"Libertarianism (Latin: liber, "free") is a collection of political philosophies that uphold liberty. Libertarians seek to maximize autonomy and freedom of choice, emphasizing the value of political freedom, voluntary association, and the importance of individual judgment."
Whiler Cheld is at least technically right, I would would argue there is more of Libertanianism on the political right than in the left. That is some types of right wing policy. Higgins is wrong in saying that Libertanianism is the right of the right. Fascism has no libertanianism ideology at all, as far as I know. But if you look at some of the things Reagan said and did, you can see the influence of Libertanianism. Af Reagan did say that the state isn't the solution, but the problem.
"Libertarianism (Latin: liber, "free") is a collection of political philosophies that uphold liberty. Libertarians seek to maximize autonomy and freedom of choice, emphasizing the value of political freedom, voluntary association, and the importance of individual judgment."
I don't see anything that contradicts what I've previously said.
Frontrunners of the libertarian movement in the US are the Koch brothers, who started their political movement after they've found out that starting a political campaign is cheaper and more efficient than lobbying.
Liberty in an economic and ecologic sense means: Less rules, less restrictions more egoism.
In the end that means: Less Unions, less environmental limitations, more abuse of workers and other countries.
And that means: More Oil, more pollution, more Wallstreet and more egoism - and that stands for market radicalism. I can't put it more mildly
I don't need any Wiki explanation - I am fully aware of what Libertarian is

No reason to make it personal and call people dense and ugly, Cheld. And if the authoritarian leader of Russia interferes illegally in an American presidential election that's very serious, wouldn't you agree?

My last comment was intended to be rather snide, a swipe at my government, not an affirmation of validity. Sorry I didn't make that clear.... 8-)
It's probably best that I wasn't around when the U.S. election was being discussed in earnest. I am certain that those of you who supported Trump would NOT like what I have to say about him. I'll just say that 2016 was already a very difficult year for me and my family, and the outcome of the election only made it worse.

It was probably mostly said for you here by those of us who recognize his Presidency & administration for the potentially catastrophic domestic & world threat that it is....
But enough Blofeld talk! )

I so miss the days of simple Bond chat. Threads like these are echo chambers, where like-minded types gang up on dissenters, and then congratulate themselves on their self-assessed superiority. IMO, as much as threads like these help the majority opinion-holders feel good about themselves, it probably reduces overall site appeal to others. I wish that mattered...but perhaps it doesn't ?:)
Looking forward to news relating to the actual main site focus.

just as the same as to speak about guns is in the off topic. If to not like about guns just do not read but not try to ban. I have looked at the ajb for a long time for those peoples who do not agree they are stupid or for hitler. This is how peoples can not have the freedoms to speak. This is not good to do this. Peoples can not agree without being bullyed.
I think you will find that the countries with strict gun laws not only have very low murder rates, they are also ranked as the most free countries and democratic in in the world. That's not stupid or pro-Hitler, is it?
But you are wrong. Saying "peoples who do not agree they are stupid or for hitler" is just wrong and nobody is getting bullied just like that.
Political points of views are being criticized and that must be allowed without accusations that you've just made.
As for gun laws, I can only agree with what N24 has just said.

hello higgins,
i do not wish to fight but this is what i see so i must say this. I am of corse could be wrong but this is how i am feeling. You wanted to have a talk about guns banned from the ajb forum when you didn't like this talk but it is off topic but someone says something here in the off topic that they don't like the politics talk then you say that that persons should not read these things if they don't like them. This is what you should do if you don't like the talk about guns not try to stop peoples from speaking by baning the talk. And this should be for every thing else you dont like or others dont like. This has nothing to do with guns killing peoples but what you want peoples to be able to talk about as you dont like it. as for the politicals talk i think i am correct. there is bulying here with peoples who do not agree and this is not good and yes you have said peoples are for hiltler because you were speaking to another member here who you said was showing hitler books. I seen this and it is here to this talk that you said this. Peoples have the right to say things but not suport hitler or things like that but can speak about what they believe in political view without bulying. yes i must say you do these things to my mind and it is not good. There should be freedom to speech whoever says this. to disagree here many times I see this with at lest two of the members who talk here. I do not agree with what peoples say on many times but they can say these things. we canot stop peoples from free speech even if we do not like what they say, we can try to say what we want to say to disagree without bulying or caling of names and otheres things. I know what this is not to have this freedoms and i dont like to see peoples bulyed into not talking because they will be name called by some. This is not good and i hope you take my word for this. I apoglise for my bad writing i have said this before.
I do not like guns i do not have a gun but if peoples want to talk about guns then they are right to be able to do this. they do no harm to no one here. if peoples want to say they dont want to talk about politics then they can say this too. if they want to talk about politics but didagree they can do this too. what i think peoples is not good to do is to make fun of peoples and buly because they disagree. i think peoples see this here.
Thank you for lisening to me here.
