    Yes. But we have a class of artists called "friends of Norway". They were popular all over the world some years ago, but now they are often touring in Norway. Are they still popular in Norway because they're touring here, or are they touring here because they are still popular here? Nobody knows ?:)

    Do you think Barbara and Michael will get The Spice Girls... or do you think it will be Too Much?

    They're not what I really really want.

    It's a struggle to think who might be in the right sort of category. I guess Noel Gallagher has been doing some decent stuff recently and might be in the right kind of area... he's been working with David Holmes recently and I've always liked the idea of him getting his hands on Bond. Janelle Monae, maybe? I guess Beyonce does make sense even if her work is completely out of my sphere of reference.

    If you want someone purely just on vocal quality then Susanne Sundfør would be perfect but is of course not really well-known enough. Here's her basically giving a perfect Bond theme performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GUNAtrDhOg
    (It's superb)

    I would like to see Susanne Sundfør as the next title song artist for obvious reasons :007) :D

    Is she well-known there? She's obviously very talented, although from what I've heard of her work it's not much like the song I linked to at all.

    There was a minor scandal when she won our version of Grammy when Astrid S won instead of Susanne Sundfør. Critics meant Sundfør was a better artiste, but Astrid is more commercially successfull.
    Susanne Sundfør is well known, but not super-famous. Her music is usually a mix of classical, jazz and a bit electronica.

    Try listening to "Delirious" and "Oblivion". -{

    Thanks; they're good stuff (I do enjoy a bit of M83). She's certainly got a pair of lungs on her.

    Impressed- great song by Scott Walker (who of course has a Bond connection himself), very Bondian, and a wonderful performance by the lady.

    Please no. Sam Smith was anodyne enough.

    What about Cher? Dark voice, maybe she could nail it.
