I've ordered the connery cover, and I'm just over 40, I have a few of Craigs bond books, so adding a connery piece just expands the collection and connery is a legend.

As for the review, as it stands, it is not complete as I admitted from the start not to having completed the reading. Quite who or what I have offended in this way, I do not know. Other than Miles, who, for his own especial reasons, is beginning to come across as a less than fun-tastic fan-boy.
Having re-read the review, I still stand by its fairness. There is nothing vitriolic, nothing that appears to be breaking any house rules, nothing that hasn't already been said in countless reviews of anything past.

Arrived yesterday , on skipping through it yesterday lots of interesting details, especially the fact that RMs nickel plated .44 in LALD was an original blued Model 29-2 especially plated for the movie, this give me three Bond style handguns

So...finally...after resisting the temptation to open the golden envelope the second it arrived yesterday...I did the deed !
I have to say that it's very apt this tome (I simply refuse to call this a magazine) arrives in a golden envelope - it's arrival and opening should be heralded by trumpets and delivered on a red satin cushion braided with gold !
Probably like most fans, I've never really given much thought to the weapons used in the Bond films...sure, I know Bond started off with a Beretta and had that taken off him and replaced with a Walther PPK and then a P99...but beyond that...?...and villain weapons...?...embarrassingly not ;% well, now help is at hand
The wealth of knowledge within is simply staggering
The photographs are set to become reference images for years to come -{
This opus is split down into chapters by film - referencing each make/model/type of firearm used, with images of the weapons themselves and other photographs I've never seen before
I'm amazed by the depth that the author has gone into...the veracity of the information is unequivocal and I had no idea how cool some of these weapons are ! Reading through this oeuvre just shows you the thought that goes into even the smallest detail of anything that is put up on screen !!!
This is a tome that I will have to devour over several weeks...probably months and years...as the information contained therein is too much for my tiny mind to hold
Gun geeks will wet their pants reading this - its THAT good :x
I can only repeat what Asp9mm wrote - buy two, one to read and to use as THE reference book and one to cherish.
My only gripe - again the same as Asp9mm - is that this wasn't printed as a massive coffee-table sized hardback book !!!
The images inside deserve, nay DEMAND, this - as does the information that's imparted by the author.
The author deserves plaudits for putting his - what must be - life's work into print for the rest of us to read and admire -{
