Has anyone ever heard of this mishap with gloves in the casino scene ?!? Seems quite implausible.. what the hell would he have been wearing gloves for during that scene anyway ?!?! Figured Esquire was a decently reputable magazine.. but....

It's such a load of crap. If there is any semblance of truth the only possibility is that it took place during the Shanghai scene with Patrice. Craig would never ask to wear gloves with a tux.


But as usual it has spread like wildfire. Why let the truth get it in the way of a good story huh? 8-)

It's actually true, although not the casino scene but the jellyfish scene in Shanghai with Patrice. I don't know the specifics about why and how he got to wear the gloves.. but his hands were replaced in a lot of shots. Colleagues of mine worked on the VFX of those shots and I've seen them working on the hands.
