Outdated or non-PC bits

Of course by their age, bits of the Bond books are outdated - or - "we wouldn't say that now."
I was re-reading the paperback of Thunderball and while the story is very interesting and detailed there was a bit
in the Bahamas where Fleming gives Bond's opinion on women drivers in comparison to Domino's expert car handling.(an MG).
It sort of says there are a lot of good women drivers "but they will never be perfect" as Bond observes that when
two or more women are in a car and want to talk to each other, they have to face each other and so this,
in traffic could be potentially hazardous.
To older men this view seems humourous, but the younger mind would think it un-PC or unacceptable.
It's another example of changes in attitudes over the decades.
