Then we can continue discussing the recent events, what happens if the supreme court rules, that the prorogation was with the purpose get away with parliament?

Parliament will be recalled, then we will have an extra 5 days to achieve what hasn't been done in 3 years.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

Well it matters as if you are privvy to private messages that the authors of don't know you are then either you have access to private messages via an inside man or someone is informing you of said PMs which is a tad underhand and would fuel bad feeling.
Of course this being a James bond forum a double agent should be expected :))
Equaly those sending said PMs may have told you they are doing so. I wouldn't like to think anyone discusses my PMs without my consent.

I'll repost this here Higgins as you seem to have missed it earlier. :D

    I can only repeat:
I know that some members here have been pretty active pming about me when the broader topic was Brexit and my position, my conduct, my statements and my understanding of democracy in that context.

And Joshua has not posted a denial of this. He tried to distract by being sarcastic ( he‘s very bad at it) but I take his comment as a confirmation.

I am in the dilemma between trying to reply to questions while knowing that these have nothing to do with the topic.

I‘d rather stay on topic, if I may

But I have not denied it because everything you say is of course true?! I do not know how to say this any more clearly? You must indeed take my comment as confirmation, but remember that I actually confirmed everything you accused me of in my previous post. Also, how can I deny the conspiracy against you when it is there in my PM messages for anyone to see? You have caught me (and everyone else) out and I salute your mastery as a result.

Now that you have revealed me as a liar I have no where else to go but to agree with every thing you say from this point on.

We can and must now return to the topic (you see I agree with you!)

Edited for spelling, content not removed.

Cosidering we may be looking at private messages not being private, I'd really like to know how you have knowledge of what's in them, twice now you have said you Know for sure the content of private messages, I'm only seeking reassurance from you that it is nothing untoward. Unless someone is giving you this information (which is downright sneaky) I can only assume that PMs are not a secure way to communicate with fellow members, I for one have imparted personal information as have others to me that I assumed was safe enough. Please Higgins I'll ask again, how do you know what people are saying in their pms?

I believe the verdict will be announced on Thursday. I was wondering about this before the poroging, but why if the Brexit situation was such a crisis, did MPs choose to all go away on holiday for six weeks? Are they forced to do this or could they have stayed in parliament if they wanted?

We have a thing in Britain called an MOT test. Look it up on Google if you like, I'm not explaining it here. Suffice it to say, that the owner of a car over a certain age (the car, not the owner) has to pay a garage unfeasibly large sums of money and, more importantly in this context, be occupied for major chunks of his/her time awaiting the verdict of a mechanic and the mathematical skills of the mechanic's boss.

This only happens once a year. What I would like to know is how you guys found out that I would be busy this particular day and decide to let all hell break loose in this thread when I was in no position to do anything about it.

So, here's the plan. I've prorogued this thread while I read through all of the posts, plus the stack of PMs in my inbox. Once I've done that, I'll start discussing it with relevant parties. If anyone thinks I'm being unfair in that, please see the UK Supreme Court.

On a very brief skim reading, I would like to say immediately that:

    (1) PMs really are private between sender and recipient. Nobody else including Mods can read them.

    (2) Racism is completely unacceptable here and will not be tolerated.
