    Hi Simon

Like the others here, appreciate your efforts and hard work on this. I hope we get to the magic number!

Failing that do you have an idea of when you will "close the gate" and take the numbers we have to TF to see if they will accept less than 50?

As you said the longer we leave it the more people may drop off.

    Just a thought...

    Keith

    Hi everyone,
I have read about this forum in James Bond Life Style and I am interested in TF Harrington.
I'm from Spain, and I'm really happy I have found a JB forum like this; hopefully I could find something like that in my country. I've been searching for years to find some of the clothes that Daniel wore in his films, specially Casino Royale, which is my favourite. I think that chances like these just happen one in a lifetime so, I'm in.
I don't want to seem disrespectful to you, since this is my first time in this forum.
If you need a PM to confirm, please let me know.
    Thank you, kind regards
Sometimes old ways are the best

    I'll let you know.

    1 for sure.

46-47 would be much easier to push than 41 so hopefully we hear from them soon one way or another. If anyone does wan't to swing for two let me know.
  • I don't see CPR and tsrGUS on the list yet.

Are you sure we're not at 43?

The list on the front page is no longer accurate, I have a spreadsheet with everyones who has confirmed which includes 4 people from James Bond Lifestyle that are not members here

I'm a size medium varvatos, large matchless,
    48 mcqueen cardigan, and a small Y-3,

Does anyone know what size I would be
    for this jacket?
    Thanks

Agree with Mark. I would say prob 50

Im a XL in Varvatos, XXL in Matchless and Large in Y3 therefore I am 2 sizes bigger in all your jackets and am a 54 in Tom Ford

There's been some sizing variations with TF lately... I'm a 48 in the cardigans, all suits, solden, and other knits, but I had to do the 50 for the specter polo.

The Harrington is tricky because it's got a Classic baracuta shape but it likely has a slimmer cut...though on Craig the sleeves are ample and the body isn't form fit.

what is the consensus? Will this be typical or a"size up" scenario?

I have the TF QoS Harrington with the leather trim around the pockets in a size 56.

Its too big for me and I'm usually a 54 in TF. I would say at this stage to take your normal size however maybe if TF agree to go ahead with this project we may get some further info?

Let me know what size you go with TSRgus,

I also am a 50 in the spectre polo but a 48 in the cardigan

What size are you in the Tf cardigan welshboy?

    Thanks for the replies all

Let me know what size you go with TSRgus,

I also am a 50 in the spectre polo but a 48 in the cardigan

Since my size 50 polo is the only aberration from my usual 48,I'm thinking of defaulting to 48 for Harrington...

But if ever there were to be voices heard, it's here...

I'm sure many of us will be asking TF Milan for sizing information.

    Agree Steve
Would expect them to release a detailed size chart for us. Sure luigi will sort that at Tf Milan on request

On a similar note to Paul
    I am a 52 in Tf (42 UK)
Have Matchless in L (very snug, ummed and arred re XL), JV in L, Barbour in L, Y3 in M, always 52 in Tf, including Spectre polo etc

  • Is there a deadline for this Simon, or is it just whenever we get as close as possible to 50?
  • I'm going to have to agree with kadd Simon...

At this point, it seems we are treading water,
we seem to gain 1 and lose 1 at the same rate.

Perhaps Tom ford won't go for 40, but sometimes
you just have to take a chance and hope for the best.

    What do you think?

I will be speaking with them this week and report back, I sense and believe me, share your frustration here. Trust me when I tell you I'm doing my best to pull this off.
  • Hopefully they will be generous enough to consider 40,
but if they don't, I think everyone here appreciates your
    efforts Simon.

Here is a little treat for everyone on this mundane Monday!

TF have now made the prototype of the Harrington and I have to say it looks amazing, they will be shipping it David Zaritsky next week for inspection where we will go over it with a fine tooth comb, take lost more photos and potentially a vlog on the project to try and drum up more interest.

I have attached the sneak peak picture and a sizing chart so you can all get a better idea on sizing. Im also speaking to them about getting individual names embroidered in the jackets to make them extra special.

Everyone who has confirmed should have received this info in an email prior to being posted here. Im still waiting to hear back from the following people and we are currently at 41 and right now its looking like this WILL NOT happen unless we hit 50 orders

I must be missing something re sizing, the 52 looks big (chest and waist) from those measurements?

    Great work BTW Simon

TF provided me with the following statement:
"The sample is size 48. Kindly find attached the measures charts for all the sizes open in production.
There will be no chance of custom once so kindly refer to the measures on the charts."

So I would go by those and not any other clothing you might have.

Also can people refrain from quoting the post since its really long, makes it difficult to keep up :s

    Simon, good stuff.

    hope this comes together.

Although there's no question that something's rotten in denmark with the numbers on those sizes. If those measurements are correct, the sample size 48 has a (lay-flat) Chest measurement (under arm to under arm) of an XXXL jacket.

We will confirm the size of the sample when we receive it next week.
