    I have further confirmation from Luigi that the prototype is a size 52 on the size chart. And that this size chart is 100% accurate. That's why he is telling everyone if they size down it is "too risky" and why he is telling everyone to go with their true size. So let's get those orders in. Rest assured if you go with your true Italian size, you'll be fine.

  • NOW 21 orders have been placed!!!

    Luigi has asked me to let everyone know, if they go with their true size, they have nothing to worry about.

    He also asked me to let everyone know that your credit card will not be charged until 50 orders are met.

    The window is closing fast. Jump on board if you want this rate jacket.

    Let's get those orders in!

    Compared the dimensions on the chart to some Tom Ford G9 type Harringtons for sale on the web and dimensions pretty much match up. If anything the waist of the QoS Harrington is a centimeter or two smaller and non elastic. So apparently true to size.

    So is the size chart that was given still acccurate?

    Well I haven't ordered yet as I can't work out the right size. I find the sizing chart very odd frankly, quite why they can't use normal 36 inch or 38 inch chest sizes I don't know

    My tf solden is a size 46 as are my tf suit jackets as well as my tf cardigan but my tf long trencoat is a 44

    I guess I go with 46 but I suspect the delay in people ordering is due to people like me trying to figure out their size

    Don't mean to be a jerk, but as an outsider looking in on this awesome project the sizing confusion seems a bit unnecessary. Perhaps investing in one of the following will expedite:

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Double-Sided-Tailors-Tape-60-inches/168611548

    http://www.tesco.com/direct/hemline-tailors-tape-150cm-with-2inch-steel-end/359-3769.prd?skuId=359-3769

    https://www.amazon.com/eBoot-Measure-Sewing-Tailor-Cloth/dp/B01D9RCHDI/

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sewing-Measure-Dressmaking-Taylor-Concept4u/dp/B01H2SZBSS/

    Now hurry up and measure yourselves so I can be envious later while looking through all of the pictures upon delivery.
  • Insulting people that are struggling with size options
    or bullying is not going to get orders to come in.

    Clearly a lot of members on here are not in sales.

    Italian sizing can be confusing.

    Typically 46=small / 48=medium / 50=large / 52=extra large.

    Now Italian clothing typically runs slimmer, smaller and more form fitting than US clothing or other countries.

    I have had Luigi from TF confirm to me several times that the measurements on the size chart are accurate.

    The measurments are for the jacket (not the person)

    You want an inch or two of wiggle room in your jacket so that's why the measurements are slightly larger than your actual chest size. Otherwise the garment would be skin tight.

    All that being said, don't get hung up by the Italian number.
    Simply go by the measurments.

    52 is highlighted because it is the prototype.

    I'm 5'10 / 170 lbs / and I'm going with a size 50.

    I'll post what I believe to be an accurate size translation for this specific jacket for people that are used to S/M/L type sizing...

    If its any help I went with my usual TF size (solden, suits, polos)

  • For this Tom Ford Harrington:
    (My best attempt at a universal size translation)

    44= XXS/XS
    46= XS/S
    48= S/M
    50=M/L
    52=L/XL
    54=XL/XXL
    56=XXL/3XL
    58=3XL/4XL

    (If you are familiar with tailored or slim fit clothing)

    If you're still confused then just go by the actual measurements on the size chart. Once again, they are confirmed to be accurate, and Luigi will make good on that.

    Daniel Craig is 5'10 and 180 lbs. (wearing a size 48)

    The size jacket that he is wearing in this picture is what I believe corresponds to a size 48 on the official size chart for this jacket. Depending on your size and how you want yours to fit, adjust accordingly.

    I think Luigi is on holiday.

    This project is starting to flat line.

    And considering MM pulled out of the project, why comment on something not of his concern.
  • I just feel sorry for anyone that's paid.

    5 months of collecting interest and only 21 orders have been placed of the 60 who confirmed.
    That's a lot of drop outs.

    At least I requested off the list officially and I didn't confirm then simply disappear
    like a time-waster.

    This project's dead.
  • It's not over till the fat lady sings. And she's not even warming up.

    Hey MM, do us all a favor and go troll elsewhere.
    If you don't have anything to contribute, then get lost.

    I talked to Luigi and he asked me to let all the late-comers know that theres still time to be added to the list if you wish to purchase one of these jackets.

    Well if you have dropped out nothing for you to worry about!

    Anyone who has sent in payment details will not pay a things until at least 50 orders have been placed.

    Last count there were 21 and I'm sure that the rest will all come in in the next little while. I think questions about sizing was why others were holding off, which has now been answered and resolved!

    Simon has shown himself to be a great leader in getting this to where it is and I'm sure it will come through!

    Spring?

    The delivery date is June I believe.

    Which may be another reason there has been a mass drop out of interested parties.

    Well I live in the NE UK, so no chance of wearing it until June :)) So perfect
    Same for Simon and Ross in bonnie Scotland...
    And a TF Harrington jacket is for life :) Providing of course you are on the list with Luigi
    If you aren't its no worries for you eh?

    MM,
    As you have nothing constructive to contribute, why don't you simply shut up?
    And I am being overly politely here X-(

    I have checked your posts:
    You've started selling here immediately without even properly introducing yourself and with the exception of making money with the help of AJB you are only in this thread.

    You have contributed NOTHING positive so far - if I where a mod, that would be enough to ban you and I sincerely hope hat this will happen very soon.
