    He most likely needs numbers to convince TF its worth their while. Simon has done quite a lot of these projects with his contacts, he knows what hes doing and how it works and has a good relationship with Tom Ford.

    Interesting to see the balance TF want, ie not too many to make it a limited run but enough to make it viable...
    Hope about 25 so we know its a very special and ltd piece

    Why don't you put me on the list? I've confirmed that I want to be on this list 4 times, I even wrote you a PM that confirmed this.

    Sorry if I pissed you off when I wanted to know more about this item before signing up. Please put me on the list.

    Right folks I have once again been tirelessly working away with TF Milan trying to get them to remake the original TF QoS Harrington Jacket (made of 100% cotton) and they are finally entertaining the idea but in order to fully determine the feasibility and price I need to gather a list of interested people (numbers).

    I would assume that its going to be in the 2000 EURO ballpark, possibly more so please only submit your name if you are interested and no time wasters that we has with the tie project.

    UPDATE: I would also assume that the jackets will be made in standard sizes, taxes will be taken off for those who live outside of the EU however you may incur customs and duties when it arrives at the destination country. Shipping will be an additional charge on-top of the cost of the jacket

    Antagonistic? :)) I assure you I'm calm. I think you're over reacting more than I am.

    Herein lies my problem:

    I was told to have "derailed" this thread because I wanted more information about the item. The OP has since used and addressed my raised concerns as info in his first post. That is exactly why I wrote them in the thread instead of in a pm. Irony? Now Simon seems pissed off at me without any reason.

    Maybe you should ask him to calm down? -{

    Do you think I can walk into Tom Ford Store to see how the sizing might fit on similar jackets?. Im either a XL 56eu or XXL 58eu. I'm just worried that the sleeves might be too long on the XXL.

    Mantis, Thank you for all the pics.
    Your size is the reference for many of us.
    What size is this jacket?
    Thanks for your help!

    If it helps, TF Harrington jackets fit really snug over the chest and shoulders, but so do all his clothes . I sized up one size for my T.F Harrington and Solden jackets and it's a perfect fit. I only wear a light polo shirt underneath, too snug for a sweater. It definitely has the "hero look" and I do not have overly broad shoulders. If you have really broad shoulders + chest I would even consider sizing up two sizes over your T.F suit size. T.F has a Harrington jacket in their stores now so I would try it on to get a ballpark idea of the fit.
    Just my two cents..
    Dave who has had this exact model can probably weight in better on the sizing issue.

    Maybe you should ask him to calm down? -{

    I am calm, I just chose not to add you to the list or respond to you're PM because I feel like you will just waste my time. You derailed it by making silly comments to other peoples responses that they were IN which just makes the thread longer and makes it harder for me to scroll through and see who's really interested!

    I also heard from two other members that you have been messing them about with the purchase of a Menlo jacket for months, so you don't sound like the type of person that follows through on what they say they will and again I don't have time for that.

    I dont get paid for these types of projects and I dont even get a discount or free item for myself and its quite lot of logistical work that takes away from my personal life.

    I will not waste your time. You got that idea from the "member that never answers my emails about me puchasing a Menlo"? That's right. The member stated that they have a Menlo for sale, I ask them several times to please follow up with pictures of the jacket but nothing happens. That is a time waster right there. I'm not gonna tell you his name here since you already seem to have it. Don't wave around with things and say you wanna sell when you don't want to.

    You think I own 3 Menlos, the Barbour Tokito, purchased forum member Kadds Magnoli polo and have 289 in ebay feedback for being a time waster?

    I appreciate what you're doing, and if you refuse so add me to the list that's your choice. I'm not gonna dwell about this anymore, that is time consuming and I'm on a vacation.

    Hopefully this project will be greenlit and you will get your jackets -{

    This is an awesome project, great work again Simon!
  • As far as sizing goes, to the best of my knowledge: 48=small / 50=medium / 52= large / 54= XL etc.

    And from what I gather this item fits true to size with a "tailored" fit

    Shout out to DBS and Welshboy who own this jacket and have been helping me with sizing concerns!
