Do group MTM projects with TF give any per item price discount from normal retail prices? I'm not sure if the Morocco tie or Harrington's prices reflected that?
Firstly to Simon who made this happen...a sincere thank you to you sir. Your efforts are appreciated.
Arrived home from travels today to finally check out the jacket. It is lovely...
I sized down to a 48. The waist is similar to the Royale Medium, which is fitted on me. The chest has a little more room along with the bicep area. Sleeve length is also longer.
But I'm happy I sized down as I wanted a slim look. I guess it is up to each wearer what look they want. Here are some pics, hopefully this helps others regarding sizing.
Perfect fit brother! Mine fits just like that in the shoulders, chest and body except the sleeves are redicuously long! Yours fit perfect! {[]
Gents, I am awaiting back a communication from Luigi before I start any interest thread for the polo. It is not a standard shape, as many of you know, so we are sorting out the details before too much conversation ensues...

At least the polo would be a bit more budget friendly on this go round.
Im guessing its simpler construction and the fact its a net 100% cotton material like the Sunspel??? So would LIKE to think it would be lower end of the TF Polo scale.
Believe the SPECTRE although looked simple had some pretty fancy construction which correct me if im wrong even Indy mentioned they had to omit from the replica. Also I guess it had a silk blend etc. (Mines never been worn and in a box somewhere so I cant remember a thing about it)
Then again since when has such logic and TF pricing made sense )
Too true...I wouldn't get worked up on price yet, either positive or negative. All speculation till we know. Biggest issue or question will be if they can replicate the EXACT pattern and weight, fabric etc....

I will follow it with interest. The polo looks a little short and boxy. Probably won't work for those of us well over 6 feet tall.
Mine came in, and it's fantastic! Many, many thanks to Simon and all who helped make this happen! {[] the sleeves are waaaay too long on me, but it fits in the body nice and snug but with little extra room for growth, except the waist which is tight on the first button (can't even use the second button) I had to go with a size 42 IT (the smallest available), which is my regular size, but I feel like this jacket is a half size down for me. You can see in the fit pics how long the selves are, but I had to have fun with it too
Again, great work to Simon and all involved -{ {[] :007)
Hi Mr Bronson like you I have exactly the same problem the sleeve length it is more suitable to an orangutan and as for the waist on the jacket is so tight you can hardly get the zip in to do it up.
So on Wednesday afternoon I went to Tom Ford Sloane Street London to the store which has had shall we let's say a fair few thousand pounds out for me over the years.
So I took the jacket to my usual girl I deal with in the store Maria Who then sent up one of the Tailors from downstairs this guy was the most on helpful c--t I have ever come across.
He then proceeded to tell me there was absolutely nothing he could do to reduce the pressure on the waistband of the jacket he then called for the manager who was again just as helpful as he was and said basically I should just live with it and then at which point he said maybe I should just order another one the next size up.
So the tailor then reluctantly sorted out the sleeve issues but at this point there is still no resolution on what they are going to do to let out the waistband on the jacket as it seems the factory in Milan who made these jackets had not thought about putting enough adequate material in the jacket for letting it out .
Now I don't mind spending a premium on Tom Ford clothing et cetera but however when there is an issue clearly there is no customer help from the store and in my opinion its piss poor .
So guys all of you out there that have issues with your jackets please bear in mind you might get the big f--k you with your jacket sorry there's nothing we can do from your Tom Ford store

Hi
Just a quick note with ref. to "Tom Ford Tailor being Unhelpful"
For future ref. if you are in doubt which size garment you should order ...... ALWAY go up and will be able to Tailor down.
Garments don't normally have enough spare material to be able to let out.
A Tailor cannot magic up spare material that's not there.
Unfortunately that's the simple truth.
I'm sorry to hear that Lq. I've heard that Tom Ford employees can give very bad service sometimes, so it doesn't surprise me, unfortunately. One would expect much better. Sounds like they fixed the sleeves for you rather quickly at least.
My closest TF store is 4 hours away, so I'm not sure when I will get the chance to get out there. Does anybody know if we can just send it to the store or if it would be a good idea to get my local tailor to shorten the sleeves? I appreciate any advance, as this is my first TF clothing purchase.

I've been following this thread with great interest. I unfortunately missed the order deadline, but I am a frequenter of the Beverly Hills Boutique and I know a few of the associates there who do their best to be very accommodating...but I always get tailoring done in person. Plus, Its a bonus to get the whole experience (if you know the right sales associate, sadly as they should have a much higher degree of consistency). You could take it to your local tailor, but I would take more comfort in knowing that the TF tailors have it and if anything were to happen, you'd be taken care of. Love seeing all of the pictures of everyone's jackets! They look AMAZING! Cheers -{

Pretty much the same measurements as 007JBDCMWR so quite glad I didn't size down and stuck with my regular TF size. Now hopefully not too long of a wait until I get my package here in Aus!
I'll be disappointed not to see a beaming selfie JTM when yours arrives! Looks fantastic everyone. Well done Simon for achieving this.
Here we go then :007)
Couldn't be happier with the sizing! Usually a 52, took a 52. Chest still feels nice and fitted, waist is very comfortable (left on the looser button in the photo, could go to the tighter one though), sleeves are a great length and it feels excellent left open, perfect say for going out to a bar -{ ...or for throwing back a cold one at home after a very long Monday at work!

YES!!!
Fingers crossed TF aren't going to be asking anywhere close to their SP polo's retail.
Hopefully they would not be too expensive
I would not say that they are "cheap" by any means.
I believe their classic standard polos run about $490.
If I had to guess that is most likely what the qos polo will run since it is made of the same materials
and has a basic construction.
We'll know more once Mantis fills us in.
TF Milan is always cheaper then those shops from my experience and of course no VAT if outside EU
